Most aspects of the hotel were just fine - clean room, quirky pop-culture themed decor, comfortable bed. However a fire alarm went off at 11:30pm, forcing us all to evacuate into the bitter cold. The staff seemed clueless as to what to tell guests to do and thus did not communicate at all unless asked. We didn't get back in bed until 1am (not an actual fire, thankfully) after numerous times trying to get answers as to what we should do. Disappointing experience.

Staff was courteous however this was NOT a 4-star hotel as advertised. No parking was available and there was only one front entrance so I had to park in a lot at the rear of the building and carry everything around in 20 degree weather. The room had light bulbs not working, no hand soap or mini sink cups. It took over 10 mins to get hot water for my shower - yes I timed it because I was running late. And the icing on the cake was getting woken up at 5:30 by a garbage truck slamming their dumpster around literally 20 feet outside of my first floor window.
