The hotel itself is lovely with authentic style decorations and close proximity to the castle. Our room was comfortable and I was very happy that the front desk person fulfilled my request for a room with balcony and view of the castle. My complaint only has to do with the extremely poor service we received in the hotel restaurant. We had dinner there when we arrived and after travelling through many parts of Europe, including Romania, I have to say that I never encountered such poor quality service. There must be a major problem with management of this restaurant; the waiter who served us was inexperienced and inattentive, ignoring us most of the time, and when we complained, he (and the senior waiter/manager) had the nerve to argue with us. It seemed as though nobody wanted to work that evening--no soup served after 7 pm when every other restaurant in the area serves soup all night. We received 4 small cabbage rolls as our main dish and the desert tart was frozen. This restaurant certainly does not meet the standards of the hotel. I suggest that if you do stay at this hotel, eat somewhere else. The breakfast buffet was ok (not great, but ok), probably because we got to serve ourselves! After our dinner, we ended up going to the hotel restaurant across the street to eat more since we were still completely famished. The food was good and service was professional. Overall, the hotel room was great, but restaurant service incredibly disappointing.

Excellent staff at reception and restaurant as well. The food is very good and fresh (except the bread; it seems it was a day or two older). Very nice and clean hotel (inside and outside), perfect location. Minor issues with the shower head and drainage. The property is excellent for a family vacation.

The hotel looks new with well appointed rooms. Staff were efficient but not welcoming. The staff in the restaurant were poor and inefficient ignoring customers needs. The rooms only had one pillow each found a second in the wardrobe that had no cover and was stained. The air con was switched off but too warm not to have ventilation which required a window open meaning road noise came in. When checking out tried to get us to pay again when had paid in advance.

You must visit here
Had a fantastic stay here and would definitely visit again. We had to leave before breakfast on the day of departure, so the receptionist went out of her way and prepared a packed lunch for us. She also prepared a coffee for us - which set us up for the morning. Excellent service.
