Charming Cottage Within Walking Distance to Downtown Brevard & Brevard College.

The Appletree Cottage is a charming cottage located adjacent to Brevard College & within walking distance of scenic downtown Brevard, NC. The house boasts a spacious great room with a large screen TV and plenty of comfortable seating for large groups, as well as a fully-outfitted kitchen & outdoor deck with grill. The first floor contains 2 bedrooms, one with twin beds and a TV and one with a daybed and trundle. One full bath w/ tub & shower is located on the main floor off of the main hallway. Another half bath is located in the bedroom that has the trundle bed. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, one with a king bed, one w/ a queen bed, and one w/ a full bed. All of the bedrooms have a TV. Additionally, the master bedroom (w/ the king bed) has a private full bath w/ a shower. Another full bath w/ shower is located in the upstairs hallway. A full-size washer & dryer are located in the basement.

Our cabins are provided with all linens and towels, a starter supply of soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher and laundry detergent, firewood and propane for the grill.

Easy access to downtown restaurants etc. Great house. Very clean, plenty of parking. This is our 2nd year of renting. Plan to do so again. Plenty of room for older fishermen and would suggest it for families as well.

Great location, walkable to downtown and Brevard college. Older neighborhood, very quiet. Nicely renovated older house with high end fixtures, good cabinetry. Plenty of space for 8 people. Lots of clean linens. Our 2 little pups were comfy too. Kitchen is well stocked and nice, but the stove top is having issues; not all the rings are notworking/working properly. I think we were the first renters after pest control bc there were lots of dead bugs in the bedrooms& bathrooms. Master Bedroom needs a bench or another chair; very sparse to be able to sit or unpack.

I would give this house a better than 5 star rating. It was perfect for the 7 adult guests that stayed here. Plenty of well-appointed bathrooms, good beds, a well-stocked kitchen with the little things you probably forgot, plenty of room to hang out and just a short walk to town. I would definitely stay here again for our next family get-together

Mandi is a fantastic hostess! Very responsive and her property was just as promised. Everything about our stay at this cottage was just perfect. Location, accommodations and even the weather made our stay a great experience. Highly recommend this property and Looking Glass Rentals.

We had a great time staying in Brevard and this home definitely attributed to our wonderful trip. It was such a large home that my family of 6 adults felt spaced out enough away from each other while still being around each other. The living room had plenty of room and the neighborhood is safe and homey. This is a great place to stay at.

The house was great for our group of 10 adults. We didn't feel crowded. Great location; it is only a short walk from downtown Brevard which has tons of fabulous restaurants! We even saw a white squirrel on the rail of the deck outside the kitchen window Saturday morning!!! Mandi's recommendation for Sunday brunch at the Bohemian Restaurant was perfect. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. We loved our stay at the Appletree Cottage! I would definitely stay again and recommend it to all! Brevard is such a pretty town. I was in awe of all the gorgeous flowers and trees! Such beautiful yards!

Best Rental in Brevard!

I can’t believe it has taken me 4 years to find this gem! We had extended family in and out throughout the weekend to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Brevard College. Over the years, we have rented different houses when visiting her, but this was by far our favorite! Clean, cozy, well-stocked, and the beds-so comfortable! We will find another reason to rent this property again.

Perfect place

This was the perfect house for our stay in Brevard! It was spacious, clean, and was in a great location. We loved the short walk to town, and there was plenty of off street parking at the house. Our communication with the host was fantastic, always a prompt response. My family would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Brevard.
