RELAX&UNWIND at this unique & tranquil getaway that overlooks the St Joe River! This Gorgeous A-Frame house sleeps 14 & has ample room for everyone! With ceilings 28' tall in the great room, This house is different than anything you've seen! Use this as a retreat & make memories that last a lifetime with your friends and family,Or use it as a base to explore Northern IN Amish Country! Located 10 Min from Middlebury &Elkhart, 15 -20 Min to Shipshewana &Goshen! Walking distance to the Park!

This house is TRULY one of a kind!
The Backyard- Has 3 levels of Decks (with lots of outdoor furniture) overlooking the beautiful St Joe River! Sit and Drink your morning coffee, watch the sunrise,Grab the Kayaks and explore the river, or Throw out a line and catch Smallmouth Bass right off the huge concrete seawall! The opposite bank is all protected woodlands so you will have lots of privacy & you will not want to leave! Upstairs Bedroom has a large patio. door that leads onto a separate deck that also overlooks the river!

Great Room- You'll walk in the front door and see the Great room that has a massive Gas Log Fireplace and an entire wall of windows with TONS of natural lighting pouring in! Gather around in the living room with the fire going for some great conversations or watch the Big Game on the 75" flatscreen TV! Enjoy your meals around a Dining table that has a gorgeous, live edge top made by local Amish craftsmen!

Kitchen -Has new cabinets and Granite tops, fully furnished for all your culinary needs! Stainless appliances, (Gas Stove) cookware, blender, coffee maker, toaster, utensils etc... Kitchen has an additional table for extra seating! You will be cooking with a view,There is a huge glass patio door that overlooks the river!

Bedrooms-(Sleep 14 total)
Bedroom #1 is on the Main level, has a King bed with tons of room for clothes in the custom closet!
Bedroom #2 Is also on the main level,Has a Queen bed and also has a closet. There is a dedicated work space with a desk and chair located in the side of this room. This Bedroom has a large sliding glass patio door that looks out over the river and you can step right onto the back porch!
Bedroom #3 is located upstairs, Has a Queen bed as well as a Daybed with a pullout Trundle (Sleeps 2) This bedroom has a large sliding glass patio door that leads out onto its own deck overlooking the River!
Bedroom #4 is a part of the Multipurpose room, Has a Queen bed and 2 bunk beds!**All the beds have brand new Memory Foam mattresses!!

Multipurpose Room- This large room has a “second Living Room,” (2 couches and a recliner) that are set up complete with a fireplace and a 65” TV! Perfect for larger groups or kids to hang out in! Large shuffleboard will provide good entertainment and memories!! This is also the room that contains the Queen bed and 2 bunk beds!

The property was gorgeous. However the cleanliness of the house was pretty disappointing. The inside was mainly just dusty but all the furniture was full of crumbs, pills, money. Pretty gross. The main reason we stayed was for the beautiful back deck and river. The deck was so disgusting, covered in bird poop, spider webs, filth. I think they need a better cleaning company with higher standards. This was not the cheapest place to stay by any means. So when I pay more for I for sure didn’t expect to have to clean right when we got there.

Right on a peaceful river

The space is laid out nice. There a huge room with games and tv and lots of beds. There was only 2 of us so we stayed upstairs. Bath and bedroom with 2 beds upstairs with view of river. Bedrooms are spaced out nicely. Could see sunsets from decks. I say decks as there are many.

Very cozy stay

Very clean, beautifully decorated, most importantly the beds were very comfortable. The river was amazing. That’s what attracted to me to this property. A very nice stay while we had our coach repaired in Nappanee.

50th Anniversary Celebration

Our three children plus spouses and six grandchildren came together to celebrate our 50th anniversary. It was a great house, plenty of room and the view of the river is spectacular. We ate meals on the back deck and enjoyed s’mores over the campfire. A great time was had by all!

Great house and location

Our group of 10 enjoyed our stay at Riverhaven. The house is beautiful and spacious and we found the property to have everything you would expect from a 5 star rated home. We were unable to utilize the outdoor space due to the weather, but that didn’t change our great experience. We would definitely stay again!

RV was in Bristol for warranty and it snowed the days we at the house so did not get a change to explore Bristol itself. However, what a fantastic place to be snowbound - it was everything we expected, and more. Owner/Manager was super friendly.

Lovely Riverside Retreat

My family and I stayed at this lovely house perched beside the St. Joe River while attending the funeral for their father . It was exactly the retreat we needed -- beautiful spot, welcoming kitchen and decks, games and nearby parks for the kids, enough beds to go around. We loved our time there.
