Stunning second floor apartment in converted edwardian house on the seafront. Plenty of parking available on the private road.
Fabulous location with wonderful coastal walks in either direction. Ten minutes walk to Joss Bay to the left, or 30 minutes walk to Broadstairs town to the right. There is also access to the beach below via steps only accessible with a key provided to estate residents.
The apartment itself has a beautiful fitted kitchen with breakfast bar looking out to sea, spacious and comfy lounge/diner, again with sea views. The master bedroom has a Jack and Jill ensuite bathroom with bath and walk in shower. The second bedroom has twin beds and arguably the best view of all. There's also a balcony off the hallway if you want to take in some fresh sea air.
Broadstairs is a beautiful unspoilt gem with its golden sandy beach and harbour arm. Broadstairs has it's own micro climate and often avoids the worst of the weather. Even in winter you can often find a sheltered spot to sit outside and enjoy a coffee.
Margate and Ramsgate are both worth a visit as they both have their own vibe and something different to offer. Historic Canterbury is less than 25 minutes by train, or 40 minutes by car.

We feel so lucky to found by coincedent this amazing site at Thanet Island which was so cozy and splendid interior, but most of all we felt in love with the landlords of this little paradise.

There's so many things to do in the area, so many wonderful bays with beautiful white cliffs and lovely beaches. Our stay at Gaynor & Barry's lovely place was absolutely perfect! The apartment was cosy and fully serviced and it was very easy to drive to Canterbury to visit the catherdral. I highly recommend the accommodation!

A great place

We stayed here for 2 nights. Barry was very kind and helpful, and the fridge was already stocked with the basics which made arrival really easy. Everything was clean, a great view, well equipped. (A nice hot powerful shower too)

We had a lovely stay in this fantastic apartment. Probably one of the cleanest, most well-equipped properties we've ever experienced. Wonderful hosts that gave us the warmest welcome (even apologising for the weather!) with a generous welcome pack to get us started. Highly recommended and we'd certainly hope to return.

Great for a family

We loved the apartment and the location. It was clean, the views are wonderful, and it was easy to walk to the various beaches nearby. Gaynor even kindly collected us from the train station and had supplied the essentials like bread, milk and cheese, as well as some chocolates for the kids which was a lovely surprise. It’s the best family holiday accommodation we’ve stayed in, and we’ll be back I’m sure!

Beautiful haven with great views

We had a lovely stay at this property. The hosts are most welcoming and accommodating, the accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The beds were comfy, the shower was hot and our kids were so happy to find a few colouring books & games to keep them entertained. It's on a quiet road, overlooking the ocean, slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Boradstairs & Margate. There is a beautiful beach (Joss Bay) close by and a 30-minute walk will take you to Broadstairs town centre.
