Nature & Environment One of the most memorable parts of staying in a Broken Bow cabin is being surrounded by nature. Because this property is located in a wooded setting, guests may encounter wildlife and seasonal elements during your stay.
Deer, squirrels, raccoons, turkeys, and other native wildlife are commonly seen throughout the area. The cabin is professionally treated for pests, though occasional insects such as spiders, mosquitoes, beetles, ladybugs, or wasps may still appear, particularly during seasonal transitions or rain.
During spring months, pollen from surrounding pine trees may collect on outdoor surfaces despite cleaning efforts before arrival.
Keeping doors and screens closed whenever possible helps maintain a comfortable indoor environment throughout your stay.
We encourage guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while remaining respectful of neighboring cabins and the natural environment. Sound travels easily throughout the forested area.
What To Bring We recommend bringing groceries, condiments, cooking oils and seasonings, personal toiletries, coffee and creamers, bug spray for mosquitoes and ticks, ice, and firewood with fire starters for the outdoor firepit.

We really enjoyed staying at Heavenly Hideaway. The location is so beautiful and very peaceful neighborhood. The house itself is very beautiful with all amenities listed and only issue we faced was with the hot tub heating up very late and continuously showing some error. I hope the management will fix this very soon. I highly recommend this property to others with the group of 10 or less.
We've started a new tradition of going to Broken Bow the week between Christmas and New Years and we invite family and friends and play games, do puzzles, take hikes, bake, relax. No schedule, just fun with the ones you love. Heavenly Hideaway was a perfect cabin for us in 2023. First - it's gorgeous! The furniture is perfect and comfortable, the beds - there are no words. The game room and loft were perfect for the kids. This cabin is secluded, has all the amenities and I loved the open space and the double French doors that led to the back deck. The tub in the master was used multiple times a day. You won't be disappointed! You'll be in heaven!
This property has a lot of good things - luxurious king beds in 3 rooms, bathrooms in each room, nice deck with hot tub, a fire pit, and creek ripe for exploring. There are a few things to be aware of or could be improved: the back door (a double door) was missing the piece to lock the secondary door in place, this caused a lot of noise, lost A/C and a safety issue with a loose part, 2) the pots and pans provided are in rough shape 3) the loft beds in the game room are hot boxes with the only ventilation being the space that contains the ladder, could be improved with small fans. The house was pretty clean on arrival but not spotless (found some hair and a stray ziplock bag in the bathroom) and one of the A/C units was not working on arrival. Property management was on it once we called, sending a repairman out within the hour to fix the unit. For the price on a holiday weekend our group of 8 adults and 7 kids (ages 2-10) had a good time. We will choose a larger place next year but would be happy to stay in a Treeline managed property in the future.
When we arrived at the cabin (mid-March), there was a ladybug infestation inside (I mean hundreds of ladybugs all throughout the house). I reached out to the property manager and was told that they are eating the beetles that are killing trees right now. So for the first hour or so after our arrival, we were cleaning up ladybugs and ladybug carcasses and throwing them outside (we didnât want to kill them since they were serving a purpose). That night, and every subsequent night, we had ladybugs falling on us in our sleep. They were on the kitchen counters and joined us on the table during mealtimes. We were glad it wasnât ants or roaches, but when they crawled on the table during mealtimes, that was pretty revolting. Every day when we came back from our adventures, we had to sweep and remove ladybugs from inside the cabin. We had to wash all of the bedsheets and pillow cases before going to bed our first night there, as they were stained and had lots of hair (and other stuff) on them. Thankfully laundry detergent was provided because we made good use of that. The loft area is now very clean, thanks to our daughters that spent a couple of hours cleaning the area. There were a few other things that we let the property manager know about for future guests. The location was great, the creek in the backyard was beautiful, and the property manager was very quick to respond to some other issues we had with the cabin while we were there.
