When you come to Nurture in Nature, our goal is that you have the best experience while both inside of the cabin and enjoying the outdoors. Below are some quick highlights and followed by a more detailed overview of the cabin so you know what you can expect for your visit.

"INDOORS"
-- Living Room --
As you make your way inside from the wrap around porch, you will be welcomed into a spacious living room area. The living room offers a cozy couch for reading, relaxing or enjoying each other around the fireplace. A basket with blankets is near-by. This is also a great place to catch the early morning sunrise. Two additional seating chairs are also shared in this space. A 52" Smart TV is installed above the fireplace. Youtube TV is available for your convenience, or you can access your favorite apps. The coffee table is often used for games, whether it be just the two of you or the entire family. Games included are Checkers, Tic Tac Toe, Connect Four, play cards, Monopoly and the cabin favorite...Vertellis. Vertellis is a game that enhances and nurtures relationships (significant other and/or family members) by asking thoughtful questions for discussion and engagement. Don't stay here without giving this one a try.

-- Kitchen & Eating Area --
The well-appointed kitchen has all you need to prepare snacks and meals during your visit including stainless steel appliances. The large kitchen island has 3 bar stools for seating and includes a large farm sink. The eating area includes a kitchen table with 4 place settings. There is also a 4-person table on the back porch and picnic table in the yard for additional eating area options. The living room, kitchen and bar are all open in one large space perfect for entertaining and family time. Kitchen has crock pot, mixer, waffle maker, blender, toaster, tea kettle and more.
The coffee/tea bar is also in this area. A starter set for every guest includes ground coffee, K-cups, half & half singles, and a variety of teas and sweeteners. The Keurig Dual K-cup & coffee maker is perfect for whatever your preference of coffee.

-- Primary Bedroom -- Private King Suite
Features a king-sized bed with two night tables. The primary bedroom has a closet with suitcase storage holders. French doors (w/ attached blackout curtains) lead directly to the oversized porch with hot tub, fireplace, grill, and sitting area. The primary bathroom features a luxurious walk-in shower with two amazing rain shower heads and a free-standing bathtub. 2 robes are included for your use while visiting. There are 2 sinks with plenty of counter space. In the cabinet drawers, there are make-up remover towels, blow-dryer, and some additional towels/washcloths.
We have also recently added a work desk and chair in the master bedroom for those who may have a little work to do while visiting the area. Makes for a great option by extending the weekend a little longer and being able to do some work from the cabin.

-- Nook/Bunk Bed Space --
Just off the kitchen area there is a space that includes the laundry room, a half-bathroom, and the bunk bed nook. This is ideal for the family of three or four, which will sleep up to 2 children comfortably. We have installed a curtain rod and blackout curtain on the inside of this space to provide full privacy and comfort for those who go to bed (or nap) in this area before the parents do. :)

"OUTDOORS"
-- The Lot --
"Nurture in Nature" is situated on over an acre lot full of pine trees. We have added many amenities so that you can enjoy your time while visiting our cabin. Unique to our cabin is a small walking trail thru the trees, which includes a custom-built bench swing for you to enjoy while being surrounded in nature. Two hammocks have also been installed for your enjoyment. Additionally, a custom-built swing set with two rope-saucer swings that both children and adults alike can use. Both the saucer swings and hammocks are great for use during the day or counting stars at night.
The property features a fire pit, so do not forget to pick up some firewood on the way up. Also, an outdoor picnic table is on property for enjoying meals outdoors. We also have installed a hose below the deck that can be used for fire pit safety and properly distinguishing the fire after use. String outdoor lighting is installed over the picnic table area and nearby saucer swings if needed or desired.
Lastly, we have some custom Nurture in Nature cornhole boards made for some fun in the yard too! The bean bags are in a larger black bag and should be right next to the cornhole boards.

-- Parking --
Parking is available on site. We have a wide circular driveway that allows you to pull in and pull out with ease. There is a culvert on each side of the driveways, so be sure to watch for this as you are pulling in and out to ensure you stay on the driveway. If you have a trailer with a boat or side-by-side, you may need to pass our driveway and use a neighboring drive to circle back to our cabin.

***We drain, clean, and refill the hot tub between each guest. It may take until the evening of the first night of your stay (if we had a guest checkout that morning) for hot tub to reheat to 100 range.

***We do have regular pest control service/inspection. However, our cabin is in the woods, so naturally there are animals/bugs. Please keep exterior doors shut to help keep any bugs/pest out. :)

***Nurture in Nature Cabin does provide a digital guidebook for all of our guests as well. This will have lots of local recommendations, check-in check-out details, attractions and activities so that you maximize your time and have a great experience.
