If, like me, you’re always looking for a centrally located hotel that’s in a quiet area, moderately priced and includes breakfast then I can save you some time and searching
.. you’ve found it! My room was on the 3rd floor and incredibly quiet, even though I was there over the weekend and within walking distance of Lipscani (old town). The room was a good size, clean and well equipped, and they even give you free wine and cake on arrival. Louisa on the front desk was very friendly and helpful (particularly when I managed to lock all my valuables in the safe without resetting it properly) and I just wish I could pick the place up and take it around the world with me. Highly recommended!!

Nice hotel quite centrally located. Very clean and modern. A bit too modern in the sense that you are given a pin to the front door and your room to unlock. So when I came early to store my luggage before check-in I could not easily get in. The reception is staffed during daytime. The hotel offers a free minibar (sodas and water) and two bottles of complimentary wine. Breakfast is nice even if the options are somewhat limited. Overall, a good place to stay.

Eclectico Villa in Bucharest is a true boutique gem. From the moment you arrive, there is a distinct sense of intimacy and character that larger hotels simply cannot replicate. The rooms are beautifully designed, with thoughtful details and a refined aesthetic that feels both personal and elevated. There is a genuine boutique atmosphere throughout the property, creating a stay that feels curated rather than standardized. Breakfast deserves special mention. It was fantastic, fresh, and clearly prepared with care. The quality stood out, and it felt generous without being excessive. The staff were equally impressive. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, they contributed greatly to the overall experience. The location is another strength. It is within comfortable walking distance to many key areas, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The only minor drawback was that the rooms are somewhat sound sensitive, and you may hear movement or noise from nearby spaces. That said, it did not significantly impact our stay. Overall, Eclectico Villa delivers a five star boutique feeling in terms of atmosphere, design, and hospitality. A charming and memorable place to stay in Bucharest.

Top class hotel!

We stayed in the Honeymoon Double room it was absolutely wonderful. The room was clean, the TV had Netflix and YouTube and the decor was amazing. Also about 10min walk to city centre. I highly recommend and special shout out to EMY the guy on Reception was very polite, professional, helpful and friendly! I enjoyed my stay and would come again.

I stayed at the Ecletico villa for 10 days and it was fantastic. The building is old and cute. The room was cleaned every day and restocked. I requested it being vacuumed once because I like to do Pilates and I like a clean floor. The breakfast selection was great. I did not go hungry. The staff was very friendly. I needed an Uber ordered a few times and there was no issue. Great place. Highly recommend it.

Location is stunning. Walking distance to Downtown. But... the problem is that is not quite a hotel. You need a code to get in the hotel. And there is no reception, therefore no receptionist either. The rooms are on the small side.The bathrooms in particular. There is no sink countertop to talk about, and all your cosmetics will end up on the toilet seat cover.

This place is an absolute hidden gem. I would most certainly stay here again whenever I visit Bucharest again. I felt like I had the entire place to myself. It was so amazingly quiet and comfortable. The staff was unbelievably attentive and courteous. The breakfast was also lovely and it was great to not have to worry about keeping up with key cards because of the door codes. The location is amazing and it was so easy to access transportation and many great sites and landmarks. I can't think of enough good things to say.

This hotel is new, really nice finishes, main area interior is beautiful and rooms especially the bathroom was very nice. Breakfast is good too. Location is okay, close to the old town but nothing great to eat in the immediate area. The bed is terrible, rock hard and pillows are there but are pretty much non existent. Also, the check-in is weird, I like the pin entry, feels safe and secure but the way this is setup is a bit impersonal. There is a sign on the door to use the code, no access to the lobby early if you need to leave luggage. Not really the hotel experience that is nice to have, really no different than an airbnb in this way. Our stay was good, especially for the price, but if you are looking for a comfy bed, this may not be the place for you.

Marvelous

Everything was absolutely marvellous. The friendliness of the people, decoration of the room and the entire hotel, the cleanliness (it was spotless!), location, the room was also super quiet. The breakfast was good (you need to order what you want on the night before (omelette, croissants, breads, etc.). I missed that part but they accommodated all my wishes in the morning - very big thanks to the hotel and staff for that :). The mini bar was also for free and was full with waters, juices and other beverages. I didn’t had the time to drink anything but it is nice to know that you can. I stood in room number 2.

The hotel is newly refurbished and you can definitely tell. It’s super modern and clean and really has a feel of luxury. The deluxe room was massive and comfortable. The only thing we will say that would elevate it just that extra bit is it was missing a few amenities - eg only 2 hangers, no extra pillows and blankets, no soap dish. Again only small things and didn’t really affect the overall stay. Location is close to city centre and did generally feel safe as it’s just off the main road. The hotel definitely provides a “hands off” experience. The reception isn’t manned 24/7 but there is a contact number for a member of staff you can reach if you ever need anyone. Breakfast was buffet style and a little basic, and sometimes the hot food was lukewarm, but it did the job. Overall highly recommended the hotel, we had a great stay!

A great location - 10 mins from the old town and 5 mins to a tube station. We only used tge tube on one day and walked to everything else. Reception are supposed to be there 7am to 7pm, but seem to wander off! However, they are very speedy to arrive if you WhatsApp or ring the number displayed. It's a small hotel (18 rooms) so that's why there isn't a 24 hour reception. Everything is very new with lovely feather pillows and duvets and a nice bathroom with fluffy towels. Rooms cleaned well each day. Toiletries are provided, including toothbrushes and toothpaste but no conditioner or cream. There is a room safe and a hair dryer. There is also a minibar that comes stocked on day 1 with 2 x soft drink cans, 2 x water bottles and 2 x 250ml wine bottles, all of which are free. There is a good spread for breakfast with hot-ish food (frankfurters or bacon and eggs) plus plenty of bread, rolls, croissant, muesli, cheese and ham, yoghurts and fruit and a different cake each day. You can eat as much as you like. Also tea, coffee, juice and prosecco if you can drink alcohol early! Breakfast is served 7am to 10am. There are no communal lounges erc, but there is a nice terrace with tabkes, chairs and umbrellas where you can sit outside for breakfast and any other time. The staff are very helpful and friendly and speak very good English. We left our luggage on our last day for collection later. All in all, a great stay, thank you.
