How close is Poggio Cennina Resort to downtown Bucine?
Surroundings were absolutely magical! The view, the pool, the vineyard, the buildings, the tranquility. Breakfast was good and the wine bar offered some drinks and icecream which was nice during our days at the pool. We also enjoyed the tennis court. Staff was very nice and the place was very clean. The apartment itself (scoiatollo) had everything we needed but I would definitely consider repainting the sharp lime green and purple colors which didnât really fit the style and made the building very dark and intense. AC could have worked better, it was very noisy and hard to sleep with it on (which we still had to do because it was very hot). There are restaurants within 10-15 minutes by car, but it should have been great if the bar could have offered some sandwiches, toast etc for a quick lunch. All in all, we loved the place and would definitely come back!
We booked a room but did not know that there was a generator near our room and was loud. The staff upgraded us to an apartment after a couple of nights. Just a tip, book an apartment if you are thinking of staying here. Breakfast was ok since thereâs no shops anywhere near this place. If you can rent a car, better but I think taxis go here. Water pressure was good as well as the wifi. If you miss fast food after eating pasta 3x a day, thereâs fast food choices 15 mins away ie Burger King and Mickey Ds. Overall, the place is beautiful and the staff made every accommodation to our request. They are the superstars in this place.
The resort is in the most stunning setting. The pool is fantastic. The accommodation is comfortable and has everything you need. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend and would return for another stay.
Modern, very comfortable, spacious luxury living in renovated Italian farmhouses in the Bucine countryside in Tuscany. Service is attentive. The grounds are well maintained including an Olympic-sized swimming pool (available in summer). Would I return to stay here again? Only if I did not have to pay a 20 Euro fee for daily service which they now charge (I paid 20 Euros after my 3 day stay during my recent visit). Would I recommend it to others? Yes, if there was competitive value. Beware the extra charges like cleaning, heating and air conditioning.
