(PERFECT FOR WORK CREWS)( PLENTY OF BEDS and SPACE) Would you like an adventure. Come stay or get married in front of a rustic cabin that was built out of hand hewn logs from the early 1900s. That's exactly what this is. It's located in the backyard of a four bedroom house that's on a 2 acre lot. Also you could visit Lions and Tiger's and over 60 different animals up close and personal at local (Tiger King animal reserve). You could also get married at the Gazebo or in front of a rustic early 1900s doctors buggy.. The house has a front porch, back deck and screened in porch. I also have house on a 1.5 acre lot thats directly across the street that sleeps 7 people for rent also.. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a comfortable sleep sofa.. Their is also a basketball court, pool table, air hockey, large soccer goal, a playground, giant connect 4, volleyball , badmition net , horse shoes, corn hole and a gazebo. There is a fire pit in front of the cabin. The cabin has a loft that has two full beds at the top and a vaulted ceiling, a pull out couch, bunk bed that's a single over a full bed with half bath and a fire place. (Close to Lion and Tiger reserve)The main house has 4 bedrooms. 3 queens and a single. It also has a pull out couch and 3 full baths one with a Jacuzzi bathtub..( 30 min from VIR Raceway)(25min from Elon)(15min from downtown Burlington)(40min to Greensboro)(20min to Yanceyville)(33min to Danville Virginia)(15min to Mebane)(40min to Chapel Hill)(30 min to Roxboro)(55 min to Highpoint)

Wonderful Home

The home was wonderful, had everything we needed (in case we forgot something). Quiet neighborhood. Easy to check in and out. The owner was really responsive and helpful! They gave great recommendations for the area also. Home was clean and comfortable. We loved the little cabin! Plenty of room for a large group and lots of thinks on the property to keep you entertained. Great place to stay.

Family gathering for a local wedding

The area is a little messy but the property was exactly as marketed and was a perfect place for our family of 14 to gather and play. We felt very safe and the street was quiet. The outdoor spaces were so fabulous. we played on both basketball hoops ( a tiny one for our 3 year old), badmitton, the teens loved the pool table and large yard for football, frisbee golf, swings, slide and cornhole. It was so much fun! The little cabin was perfect quiet space for the littlest ones to get to bed undisturbed. The AC was running when we arrived and the cabin was very clean. There was so much to do we really did not need all the TV's that were in every room. The location was close enough to our wedding venue. Make sure you download all directions and instructions as it is very remote and we did not have service until we were able to connect to the house wifi. There is a remote door code that you will use to access the rental. We will definitely stay again if there is another event in this area for our family.

Overall a nice stay

We really liked the stay and had a good time. One thing to notice is, the main house has beds that sleeps 7-8 people and the rest of the beds are in a wood cabin which is little far away from the main house. I think the wood cabin is mainly usable for teenagers and adults. Also the wood cabin was smelling a bit when we entered in, but gradually subsided later after we switched off the gas log heater. Location wise it is kind of remote, not much to do around, if you just to stay with family in the property and have fun playing games, etc., then it is perfect. Hope this helps someone who is planning to book this property.

Wonderful experience!

The property was so clean! Absolutely a pleasure to sleep in a bed that smelled so nice and clean. Plenty of dishes, such as coffee cups, for the family to use. We had 2 different VRBO rentals in the local area for my daughter's wedding and this one was top notch and we all slept well! Thank you so very much!

Amazing property for a family gathering

We were in town for a wedding, and we were pleasantly surprised by the property. It’s a lot larger in person with an amazing cabin in the back. There were yard games, although we weren’t there long enough to use them, and a great fire pit! It’s close to the animal sanctuary and was a great experience there too. Roy and his wife were extremely responsive, and were able to answer all our questions. I highly recommend this property.

Great place for a getaway

This property was everything we were looking for. The owner was excellent with communication and answering our questions. We left with wishing we stayed longer. Plenty of yard games and activities to do at the house during down time. The cabin was beautiful as well!

Great stay!

This place has plenty of room and everything works! Kitchen appliances, washer & dryer, thermostat, showers etc. even the tv, mini fridge and air conditioning in the cabin! Great space! The only downside is the abandoned trailer across the road that takes away from the front porch view. We spent most of our time out back though so it didn’t bother us too much at all. Slept well -soft, clean sheets! We enjoyed our stay!

Roaring good time

House had plenty of room and all the amenities we needed. They even put out a Christmas tree for us since we there during the holiday. The backyard was great, plenty of activities and the fire pit was perfect. The homestead cabin was very cozy. The kids asked me to book it again next year. And of course, we absolutely loved listening to the lions and wolves at the conservatory close by.

Beautiful home. Lots of room. Nice and clean. Home owner answered email questions quickly. Beautiful yard to play in. My one concern was that I heard wolves when we came in at night but I was unaware that the sound was coming from a near by wildlife conservation.

Perfect country home
