These superb stone-built barn conversions can be found nestled in the charming village of Litton, on a traditional working farm within the picturesque Peak District National Park. Newly converted in 2023, this barn conversion has been thoughtfully and beautifully designed to cater fully to the needs of both you and your furry friends. Full of character with individual impressive features such beamed vaulted ceilings and exposed stone. There’s the luxury addition of underfloor heating to the ground floor and externally there’s an enclosed space, allowing any small children and four-legged companions to frolic freely and safely. A private parking space with EV chargers is available for this property; for cycling enthusiasts, there’s bike storage, and there’s even facilities to wash dogs, bikes and muddy boots meaning your companions and equipment can return from outdoor adventures clean and refreshed. This property is on a working farm, towards the end of March and ongoing for approximately 4 weeks guests may be lucky enough to witness lambing seasons with newborn lambs being born and the opportunity to feed them.

Litton is a small, delightful village with the quintessential traditional charm of the Peak District. Next door to the cottage, you’ll find a small village shop, and across the road a good food serving pub. Extensive walking and cycling is available direct from the door. Beyond Litton, the Peak District National Park awaits your exploration. Discover breathtaking vistas, majestic peaks, and hidden valleys. Ever popular Bakewell and the historic landmark of Chatsworth House are around a 15-minute drive, and the vibrant town of Buxton, renowned for its natural thermal springs and Opera House around 20 minutes.

The enchanting village of Castleton is also just 20 minutes and where you can hike the famous Mam Tor, explore the ancient Peveril Castle or venture into the fascinating Peak Cavern. Around a 25-minute drive and nestled amidst the picturesque countryside is Edale. One of the nicest and well equipped cottages that we have stayed in. Very welcoming hosts to a lovely village and accommodation. We enjoyed it so much we've rebooked for next April hopefully lots of cute lambs around. Don't miss out on the delicious cakes on sale in the shop next door.

The Loft is probably one of the best places we have stayed in.

The Loft is probably one of the best places we have stayed in. Litton is a picturesque village with a great pub and a useful community run shop and Post Office. There are plenty of walks from the door. The accommodation is very tastefully furnished and the appliances are of very good quality. Everything has been thought of. The kitchen is a large light space, perfect for cooking and enjoying a meal in. The only slight downside is that it is on a working farm with associated smells, but it wouldnñ€ℱt put us off from returning again. The owners were very friendly and left us a generous welcome pack.

Beautiful converted barn with every need catered for.The barn has EV charging, a fantastic dog wash room and wonderful white fluffy bath sheets.Upon arrival we were greeted by our friendly hosts who gave us lots of information about the local area.Fantastic area for walking and visiting places of interest.The village is so nice with a small shop which sells delicious homemade cakes and lots of essentials. The village pub also serves delicious homemade food, we recommend the Sunday Roast.Highly recommended as a fabulous place to stay.

We had a fabulous holiday at the Loft. Beautiful property. Wonderful hosts, who supplied the excellent wecoming pack. The property is centrally located for lots of lovely walks, cycling, and visiting the Peaks, even in Winter there's ample to do.The local village shop is excellent for essentials, and for a nice coffee and cake break, the villagers are lovely and friendly greeting us with a smile" hello, morning afternoon" . Just across the road is the village Pub, the food is excellent with excellent local beers. We are considering booking again for this year, and also for next year when the 'availability ' is listed. Oh, did I mention the underfloor heating in the Loft? So Devine, toasty, lovely and warm. 12 out 10 for Pam and I.The property is very well equipped, home from home here, are you considering cycling, walking, 10 out 10 here.
