This cozy getaway 2-story 1,286 square foot 2 bedroom 1.5 bath home is located west of highway 1 nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a nice balcony view of the hills with roaming cows to the east. Below deck in the front yard you have a view of the pines and can catch deer and wild turkey walking around on a beautiful day. This is truly a cute place to relax and unwind. The home floor plan is set up to where the master and guest bedrooms are located on the 1st floor along with 1 full bath. Upstairs is the living room, with fireplace, kitchen, half bath, wet bar and balcony.
You are in a perfect spot where you are not far from many of the adventures that Cambria has to offer. Downtown Cambria is 1.8 miles, Moonstone Beach 2.8 miles, Tipton Entrance Fiscalini Ranch Preserve 1 mile, Stolo Vineyards & Winery 3 miles, Hearst Castle 10 miles, and San Simeon State Park 5.9 miles, the list goes on.
This home is truly a home away from home where you will create lots of fond memories and guarantee you will want to come back.

Micheleen's house was exactly as listed: spacious and well-designed for a serene stay in Cambria, located in a quiet neighborhood that's a quick drive to downtown, the beach, or hiking. But what you can't tell from the listing is how incredibly thoughtful and detail-oriented the hosts are. The kitchen is stocked with cooking/baking staples, there are guides to the area, and there are cozy accommodations inside and out on the patio. And Micheleen is an excellent communicator and incredibly helpful! I would recommend to anyone.

We stayed at this wonderful property while visiting our son in San Luis Obispo and it could not have been more perfect! The balcony deck was amazing, the kitchen had everything we could possibly need, the beds were very comfortable, and the décor is just adorable. Nice Weekend Getaway Close to Downtown Cambria

We really enjoyed staying at the property. It was good for us (both couples) to hang out and BBQ together after coming back from Heart Castle. Our bed (King bed) was super comfortable and the kitchen was loaded with everything you could possibly want to use to cook! Plus, the property is only 4 minutes away from Downtown Cambria, which has a ton of cute restaurants and shops to explore. Micheleen was amazing with her communication throughout the entire process. We would be happy to stay here again if we ever come back to visit!

Looking forward to coming back

We had a fabulous stay. The house is beautifully decorated and clean. Beds and sheets were clean and comfortable. Curtains blocked out the sunshine in the morning which we appreciated since not all homes have them. Micheleen contacted us well in advance with detailed instructions and check-in was smooth. She also provided a binder with instructions on how to use everything and recommendations of food, activities, etc. Super helpful. The kitchen is fully stocked with any appliances, spices and kitchenware you would need along with special added touches like providing filtered water for the morning coffee. The house was a quick drive to downtown and the beach. We liked how quiet it was. My daughter loved the bean bag chair and the surprise crayons and coloring books under the coffee table!! What a happy discovery!! We really appreciated the level of detail, thoughtfulness and care Micheleen takes to make sure visitors enjoy their stay here. We hope we can come back next year.

Cozy and Wonderful

From the moment we arrived we felt like we were home. The bedrooms were spacious, nicely decorated and the beds wonderfully comfortable. My son ended up using one of the inflatable beds and slept very comfortably. There were plenty of extra sheets, blankets and pillows. We ended up cooking breakfast and the kitchen had everything we needed from tableware to pans to spices. Felt like I was in my own kitchen cooking a meal. The balcony and views were an absolute plus! We even saw wild turkeys on our last day right outside the house. This place is definitely special and you can tell so much time and thought went in to making this home truly a gem. Thank you for a most wonderful stay Micheleen and making us feel so welcome! We can't wait to return!

Had a great stay in Cambria for the weekend. Home was very close to downtown, walking trails and beach access. Evenings were cool and we really enjoyed the gas fireplace, Morning Coffee and afternoon wine on the deck with great views of the hills to the East. Can't wait to return again.

Lovely stay for two couples

I really enjoyed staying at Micheleen's property! It was a perfect spot for two couples. Micheleen gave me all the info I needed for a smooth checkin and left a yummy bottle of wine for us to enjoy. Her kitchen is very well stocked and was great for cooking simple meals. The beds were super comfy and I slept well. It was a short drive to the ocean and downtown Cambria, great location.

This is our second stay at the Cozy Cambrian, and the name says it all! This lovely home is so inviting and meticulously well kept. Micheleen has done an amazing job at making you feel comfortable and welcomed. It’s like you’ve known her for years and you’re just a guest staying at her house. This cozy abode is well stocked and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Checking in and out was a breeze. Micheleen will contact you well in advance with all the information you need, so there are no surprises. We most enjoyed sitting on the front deck watching the wildlife scurry about and having a glass of wine by the cozy fireplace in the evenings. Be on the lookout for wild Turkeys as they meander up and down the street, or the wild Deer grazing in the empty lots. Enjoy the beauty of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve hiking trail and it’s amazing views of the Ocean and Landscape. Afterward, grab some lunch at the Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill. The Fish Tacos and Crab Cakes were delicious and for dessert try the Lava Cake, it’s soooo decadent! Also, try Linn’s Bakery for dinner, lunch or just dessert. Walk on Moonstone Beach, look for Moonstones or Sea Glass, you’re sure to find something unique. Take a stroll into town and visit the quaint shops. The people are so nice and there is something for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we’re already looking forward to our next trip. Thank you Micheleen for being such a great Hostess and for sharing your lovely home! Will see you soon! Blessings!

Great Cambria Home!

The home is better than described. It’s lovingly cared for with nice decorative touches, and it shows. Extremely clean and comfortable — everything was in perfect working order and easy to use. Communication with the owner as well as directions at the home were straight-forward, thoughtful, and helpful. The home is in a quiet neighborhood easy driving distance to beach, shops, restaurants. I highly recommend a stay here!

I have stayed in rental houses all over the country and world
loved loved loved this house! Absolutely cozy on chilly rainy winter days. So sorry the weather wasn’t warmer because the deck and view are wonderful. The hostess, Micheleen, is so attentive and thoughtful. She decorated the living area for Christmas which was so nice for us being away from home. She was also immediately responsive to any questions I had. The house is in a great spot for easy access to Cambria and Hwy 1. I will absolutely stay here again

Look No Further

All I can say is WOW! The photos do not do this home justice. All I would need to do is pack my clothes in order to live here. Everything you need is available, especially in the kitchen. I particularly enjoyed the spice cabinet. Come and see why. Comfort is abundant and the view from the desk area would make working hard because all you'd want to do is stare out the window! Beds are comfortable, linens are top of the line and Micheleen was easy to communicate with. WE WILL BE BACK!

We wanted to stay somewhere where we could make trips up to Big Sur and Paso Robles and this was the perfect location. This is probably also the most well equipped and cleanest place we have ever stayed at! The host was great and went above and beyond to be accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect house for a getaway

We had such a lovely stay. Our girls enjoyed the games and coloring books, while we were able to spend time relaxing on the front balcony. The house is very close to the beach, Hearst Castle, and open space for hiking. This was definitely the neatest and cleanest home rental we've ever stayed in. The host was very attentive, super responsive, and also checked in with us via message during the weekend. We look forward to another stay in the future!

Weekend stay with kids

The house is on a quiet street with views of the hills to the southeast. We saw deer and turkey roaming the street. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The furniture on the deck is very nice, as well as the beach chairs and boogie boards available. A really nice find! Micheleen was very responsive, flexible, and accommodating: everything you want in a rental host.

Great home!

Super comfortable home tucked away in the foothills in Cambria. Pictures don’t do justice to the nicely decorated interiors! We enjoyed our time on the deck watching deer, wild turkeys and squirrels. Lots of amenities to make our stay in Cambria relaxing and fun. Highly recommend Micheleen’s home.

A Wonderful Vacation Home

This home was very comfortable, very clean, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed during a one week vacation in August. We went for several hikes on the bluffs overlooking the ocean which is very close to the house. We enjoyed walking on the boardwalk by Moonstone Beach, exploring the shops in Cambria and eating at some restaurants. We also had fish and chips twice at Giovannis in Morrow Bay and went to Avilla Beach. We also drove up north to see the elephant seals and went to Ragged Point where there are steep cliffs and great views. We really enjoyed the fresh cool air by the sea and our stay in this very nice house. We viewed deer and turkeys in the neighborhood.

A wonderful experience

This was the perfect house for 3 best friends looking for a weekend getaway during the pandemic. We were able to cook, watch movies, spend time together on the balcony, and spend some time in at the beach and downtown. The house is inviting, clean and cozy. Will definitely come again!

Excellent Cambria getaway

My friend and I stayed at this charming house for three nights. The house is great, perfectly outfitted with all the comforts of home. I will definitely be staying here again. The owner could not have been more helpful with getting us all the check in information ahead of our visit.

Perfect stay in Cambria!

The Cozy Cambrian was the perfect home base for us the explore Cambria and the incredible central coast area! Comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. You can tell the host has put a lot of time and care into making this the perfect vacation home. Plenty of linens and everything you could ever want in the kitchen including tons of spices. The kids enjoyed the board games and coloring supplies. We thoroughly enjoyed the San Simeon Bay trail hike that Micheleen recommended—stunning beauty! Don’t miss the elephant seals. I can’t imagine there’s a better place to stay in Cambria, or a better host!
