This is an extremely comfortable home in a convenient location! Vicki was a great host, leaving milk and bikkies in the fridge, and she arranged for the garage to be open for us as the weather was just dreadful when we arrived. The house has all the amenities required for short or long stay. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and there was great water pressure & water temp in the showers. The house is showing signs of wear and tear but it didn’t detract from the cleanliness and comfortability of our stay. Thank you so much for having us!

Fabulous Stay in Cambridge NZ

Kudos to our host, Vicki! This was just a lovely stay in a beautiful home, in a wonderful town. We weren't too far away from great things to do in the aria or the Auckland Airport. Our family truly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. Cambridge had great breakfasts, tea and flat whites. We loved the Saturday Farmer's Market and the fresh food offered by the locals was great. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the milk and treats left by our host in the refrigerator for our arrival. At her suggestion, we also pick some fruit and made a tasty fresh squeezed lemonade from the lemon/orange hybrid fruit tree in the yard. The kitchen was well equipped, so staying in for a meal or heating up a pastie was a breeze as well. So glad we chose to visit.All in all a great stay and we would definitely book again! Thanks

Quaint Cottage

This home was good for a 2 night trip. We were in the area to see Hobbiton, glow worm caves, and do a hot air balloon. This was a central location for all three. The lake across the street was pleasant and enhanced the trip. Great for morning workout/walk. Around the corner was a workout station that got the job done. There were only 2 bathrooms and showers. The host was responsive and friendly. The courtyard was nice for reading.

Thank you - it was a beautiful, warm and cosy cottage to stay in for a winter break. The beds were so comfortable! Very central. The check in was easy and fantastic communication. Everything we needed was there. Highly recommend this cottage for friends or a family.

Sweet Cottage

Nice house close to central Cambridge

Tidy, well-presented property a short walk into town. Everything you could want for preparing your own meals - handy if you're making use of the water sports at nearby Lake Karapiro. Vicki's communication is thoroughly on point too. Well recommended!

Great house

This is fabulous place to stay when in Cambridge. The location is an easy walk to town and all the cafes along the high street. The house is well set up, with everything that you need. The kitchen is well equipped and brilliant for this time of year is the BBQ. Having access to the double garage was an unexpected bonus. And finally, all communication was quick, friendly and clear.

A Beautiful Cottage.

The cottage is in a superb location with the Botanical Gardens and lake just across the road. It is very close to town and there is a very good Four Square shop just a short walk away. The cottage is very well equipped with all the mod cons and a lot of extras. Cambridge with it's very interesting history is one of our favourite places in New Zealand. Would highly recommend this property.

Perfect location and amenities

The property suited our needs perfectly to accomodate 4 adults (one couple and two single elderly parents) enough bathrooms and toilets for all! Well equiped kitchen with coffee, tea, milk and other pantry items to get us started. Short stroll to cafes and supermarket and a great park for walks nearby. We hope to be back again next year. Just lovely with all sorts of little extras that put the finishing touches on.

Vicki was awesome to deal with and very responsive. There was coffee and tea plus milk and juice in the refrigerator. There even was an Easter player with chocolate eggs since we were there over the holidays. Very well stocked kitchen. Everything you would need. It was perfect!

Absolutely Grand!

Our visit to Cambridge was everything we hoped it would be. The house was very comfortable, the private backyard was great. We walked to downtown restaurants and the park across the street. The location made it easy to visit nearby attractions. Our host made several excellent suggestions about places to eat and visit. We could not be more pleased!

Very comfortable

This was a great place to base ourselves to visit local sights like Hobbiton and the Waitomo Caves. The cottage was very comfortable with a well equiped kitchen. I wish we had allowed an extra day to explore Cambridge itself as it seemed like a lovely place. Would definitely recommend.
