Captiva Bayside Cabana !
**This property has a âValue Propertyâ designation**
Need a quiet place to relax and hang your hat while you spend your time on all that Captiva has to offer? Then you need to stay at Baywatch Cabana, an efficient apartment situated on a lush three-acre site along Roosevelt Channel on Captiva Island. That is not only inexpensive but clean and comfortable. The individual but fully-furnished Cabana features a queen-sized bed, sofa, full bathroom, kitchenette (microwave and full-size refrigerator), and washer and dryer. The lanai has an eating area along with a gas grill, while French doors open onto a small sun deck facing north.
Outdoor games are also available to use on the abundant green lawns or relax around the fire pit in the landscaped area. The grounds offer two shared docks with electricity and water for fishing or boating. Take one of our kayaks to go into Buck Key, a historic small island directly across from the docks. Turn right out of the driveway to Captiva Village to try some of the main restaurants or shops on Andy Rosse Lane, or turn left onto Captiva Drive to go to Blind Pass for fabulous shelling.
Baywatch Cabana does not have deeded beach access.
Two kayaks are present for guest use on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Rent Baywatch Cabin or with one or all of the other Baywatch homes on the 3-acre estate. All homes are pet friendly with an additional fee.
** Value Properties are units that enjoy great island locations offered at a bargain due to the basic conditions of the unit. These assessments are determined by Kingfisher management as well as repeated guest feedback indicating the property needs updating. Units are clean and maintained, but guests are encouraged to set expectations appropriately depending upon the vacation experience desired.
Kingfisher Vacations will only book reservations up to 51 weeks in advance. All our properties have contact-free check-in, no need to stop at the office (or a stop light none of those here)!
My husband and I traveled to attend a wedding on Captiva. The Baywatch Cabana was the perfect space to stay between activities. Check in was easy and the listing was accurate.
Our accommodations were perfect for my husband and myself. A representative called us on Tuesday to make sure everything was as expected. The dock turned out to be fantastic because we could not find parking at the beaches. We took the beach chairs to the dock and saw pelicans dive and eat, dolphins swim past the dock an eagleFly over and other birds I could not identify chairs to the dock and watched pelicans
Casual setting. Felt private and away from highway even though it was close to the road. Could have used some light on the address plaque at night. Overshot the entrance a few times. We felt that privacy was well served at this location!
Nice secluded location. We liked the location for fishing, access to the beach is 1.3 miles down the road at Blind pass where parking is $5/hr or you can bike. Bring a hot plate if you want to cook other than the microwave. The lanai is nice but no see ums can get in we used it for storage of fishing gear
