Clean large room, friendly staff, excellent pool facilities. The pool & jacuzzi & sauna & steam room are lovely and can be used by hotel guests, not just spa guests. The pool is a lovely warm temperature. I had a spa treatment & thoroughly enjoyed it. The posh restaurant is the breakfast restaurant & very overpriced, especially for meat. The cheaper restaurant is just outside it, it’s a sports bar with TVs everywhere. Breakfast was sensationally good, great selection, food superbly well cooked & supply maintained. Both crispy streaky bacon & pink back bacon available. Definitely a highlight for us.

Was given room with balcony thank you, room and bathroom clean. Hole in carpet where bed castor was. Complimentary toiletries sparce. If you wanted to take a bath you couldn't reach any body wash/shampoo as attached to the wall in the shower and next to sink. Drinks in bar quite expensive, but nice relaxing place for quiet drink. Barman pleasant, he changed tv channel for us. Cocktails disappointing.

lively bog vathtub , but no soap or bodywash available in tub. Only available bodywash was fixed to the wall above the sink, and fixed to the wall in the separate shower cubicle on the other side of the bathroom. I had to fill a cup with bodywash and balance it on the side of the bath in order to wash in tne bath

The room was very comfortable and staff were very friendly. Food is good but in my opinion very overpriced! I also had to pay £5 to hire a spa robe which in my experience is not commonplace. That being said, the spa was lovely and never too busy. The breakfast was of very high standard and overall it was a pleasant experience.

Rooms are cold, heating is managed from a central point so no matter how much you press the buttons nothing is going to happen it doesn't go over 20C in a big room with large metal windows. No minibar. Word of warning - do not use your sat nav to find the resort - the narrow unlit lanes around this 650 acre estate are brutal, no signs to the estate and your sat nav will take you around in circles.

Hotel is a wow ! Food was below quality compared to the surroundings. My evening meal was a chicken burger which was overcooked. I was looking forward to a really nice breakfast but the bacon was really dry, the muffins were very stale, hash browns were over cooked, coffee was poor. Shame as the I said the hotel is a huge wow factor.

Staff efficient and friendly, hotel set in lovely grounds as pictures show. Spa was exceptional. Little things, like the room couldn't open a window as it was well above a metre or more than head height, walls and carpets showing wear and considering the resort, carpets on hallways and stairs not the best compared to remainder of property spoil it a bit.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had nail clippings on the carpet next to the bed and also in the bathroom next to the sink. We also had a wet towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door which had to be from the previous guest which led us to believe the room wasn’t as clean as it should be
