Forest View House is a truly magnificent and one-of-a-kind property that more than lives up to the romantic imagery of its name. Nestled amongst lush and green gardens that look like they belong in a fairy tale, this house is the perfect destination to refresh your mind, body, and soul.



Enjoy the splendor of Victoria’s unique flora and fauna on your literal doorstep (we highly recommend a picnic in our expansive gardens and a stroll to the mesmerizing Forest Creek) or sit back on one of the generous sun-drenched balconies and watch the birds and time fly by. If indoors is more your style, curl up and enjoy the comforts of this luxurious home complete with gas log fires, a beautifully large bathtub, and a captivating reading room.



The light-filled and open-plan kitchen and living area are surrounded by gorgeous views and greenery while providing the perfect space to catch up with friends and family. The beautifully restored kitchen has all the charms of a historic house, but with the bonus of modern luxuries such as our state-of-the-art of Falcon Cooker. Open up the balcony door and you have the perfect space for a BBQ for the ages. The comfortable lounging area is decked out with comfortable couches, a smart TV, free wi-fi, board games, and more to make this your home away from home during your stay.



Despite sleeping amongst an oasis of natural splendor, Forest View House is only a short walk away from the allures of central Castlemaine and with complimentary on-site parking, you can explore everything this region has to offer.

We recently booked Forest View for a larger group of people and it was absolutely stunning. The property was clean, comfortable and warm. It had everything you could think of for a weekend away, including a warm gas fireplace and a reading room. Beds were comfortable, and clean. Close proximity to shops but quiet. Would recommend for groups.

Forest View House

Four of us had a fabulous two day stay at Forest View House in Castlemaine. The accommodation was 5 star in all respects. We were to have been a group of five thus the choice of five bedroom accomodation but one of us was unable to come so we certainly had a lot of space to relax and enjoy. A short easy walk to the town centre made it very accessible to everything we needed.

Large beautiful warm & cosy townhouse

Forest View was lovely. The townhouse is huge and had comfy beds, five bedrooms, three great bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen and lovely outlook over the surrounding gardens. Two outdoor areas and a lock up garage with extra parking. Perfect place for our group of 8 ladies. The place was clean and they provided everything we needed. It was cold weekend, but the house was super warm with the all the heating options. Would definitely recommend staying there. Close to the center of town.

We took our 90 year old mother away for a weekend. The house was great, level, clean, rooms with ensuite and a gorgeous green balcony where we enjoyed wine. There was 10 of us and we were all very comfortable.
