At the foot of the Cederberg Mountains, just over 2 hours' drive from Cape Town, lies the little hamlet of Clanwilliam. Famous for Rooibos tea & the most beautiful wildflowers.

If you are the type of person wanting peace and quiet, unpretentious living with nature as the main attraction, then this might be the place for you.

The Lake Cottage has 2 bedrooms. Main bedroom with double bed. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds.

Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, washing machine, fridge and dishwasher. Because who wants to do dishes whilst on holiday.
Coffee plunger available. Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee pod machine, please bring pods.

Basic items such as salt, pepper, sugar, tea, coffee and milk supplied to make your stay more enjoyable.

The loft area upstairs with a sleeper couch provides a nice space to relax in front of the TV with Netflix, Prime and Disney+.

Wrap around stoep/patio area with outdoor dining tabls and chairs.
Braai area with nice view of the estate and surroundings.

Please note: this is a quiet complex where we respect our neighbours therefore no loud music allowed.

The property is in a 24 hour security complex. Please note the area is a little bit outside on Clanwilliam dam.
To reach the property you will drive on a gravel road, short and easy road accessible with normal vehicle. Please note you will pass an informal settlement mostly occupied by farm workers. No issues experienced.
