1850 Charleston Single - Historic District: Walk to everything
Legal and Licensed rental (OP2025-07095). Comfortable 1200sf, 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath, renovated 1850 single located in old historic district in downtown Charleston in the active Cannonborough-Elliotborough neighborhood. Private courtyard with off-street parking for two smaller cars or one large truck. Walk out the door to the King Street design and restaurant district, the Visitor Center, the Farmers Market, and everything Charleston has to offer.
The house is furnished with an eclectic mix of modern and antiques. It includes a fully equipped open kitchen, a living and dining room and a powder room downstairs, a master bedroom with a king bed, a second bedroom with two twin beds and a bathroom upstairs. Also included is a washer/dryer, flat screen TV with cable, hi-speed internet, and a docking station. The outdoor area includes a table and chairs. Outdoor dining area limited if two vehicles parked off street.
IMPORTANT!!! Please take notice that a large adjacent development is scheduled to start in December 2024 and will last through 2026. This work will pretty much affect all businesses and residences in the area, including all legal short term rentals in peninsular Charleston (our neighborhood is the only one where owners are not required to reside on the property during guest stays). The City allows work M-SA, 7AM to 6PM. It is also possible that there will be concrete work allowed earlier in the day. It will unfortunately be disruptive for everyone. The bright side is there will be a new park adjacent to us upon completion and we wonât stare onto an empty unmaintained parking lot.
Check out d'Alessandros Pizza, Chubby Fish, Barsa Tapas Bar, The Daily, Chez Nous, Revolution Coffee, the Grocery, Vernâs, The Ordinary, Indaco, Leon's, The Darling Oyster, Maison, Little Jack's Tavern, Cannon Green, The Rarebit, Malagon, and Island Provisions... all within a few blocks. Shop the King Street stores or explore the Cannon/Elliotborough boutiques like Indigo & Cotton, Mac&Murray and Beads on Cannon. Day spas, salons and yoga studios are also located in close proximity.

Avis pour 1850 Charleston Single - Historic District: Walk to everything
Everything was close and an easy connection to King and Market Streets with wonderful restaurants. My only complaint was the loud noise both Friday and Saturday night due to nearby parties Very nice property
Very clean, great shower. Perfect for the three of us. Although we didnât cook I noticed the kitchen was well-stocked with equipment. Perfect location for walking around or a quick Uber.
Lovely home, super charming, great location!! However, there is construction next door. Not a place for light sleepers. We didnât spend much time inside as we were out touring so it wasnât bad for us. Would definitely stay here again once construction is complete.
Great stay. The host was very communicative which is appreciated. House is very nice and close to EVERYTHING! Walkable anywhere! Bathrooms are updated, showers are hot. Definitely recommended!
Beautifully restored historic home! Stocked with everything we needed. Great location. Walking distance to pretty much everywhere with easy access to the free trolley if you choose! Great spot to celebrate our 35th Anniversary! Thanks!
It was a great girls trip. Frank the host was so informative about the area. Restaurants and things to do in Charleston. Our location was ideal. We walked and took an uber when needed. Very close to everything. The pizza place across the street from really good. And the breakfast bakery too.
The place was incredibly cute, well maintained, very clean. The only problem is the noise factor. The owner did let us know about construction however there was a lot of loud music until 1-2 AM which wasnât very good. Also, in front of the house there is a bump from the construction that cars go over all times of the evening, which kept us up. Overall, great location, very safe, you can walk anywhere youâd like, great restaurants, and again the place was really cute.
