Upon arriving at our room, one of the two key cards did not work. The television wasn't programmed. The room was clean and equipped. There were a lot of kids staying at the hotel due to a nearby tournament. During the evening, someone tried kicking down our door, yelling to be let in. Clearly, had the incorrect room number. Breakfast in the morning was chaotic and messy.

Room was a bit dated had a stagnant smell when we walked in front desk lady was not very welcoming. The appearance of the hotel from the outside in the lobby were beautiful, but misleading. It was OK for our one night day, but I wouldn’t have been comfortable staying longer than a night as it wasn’t very clean either in our room.

It was a nice hotel with nice amenities. The complementary breakfast buffet was delicious and on Monday and Tuesday nights they had a complimentary dinner as a thank you to the guests. The rooms were clean, the pool was nice and there was an outdoor fire pit area that was relaxing. What stood out the most was the staff. They were so friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 7 am and the check in time wasn't until 3 pm. They had us in our room and resting by 10 am. They never acted inconvenienced or put out by us being early. Quite the opposite. The price was reasonable and the location was accessible to Charlotte and the greater Charlotte area. They made our stay a very nice experience. Two thumbs up!
