Ideally situated near to the beach.
Ideally situated near to the beach. Very comfortable apartment. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay.If you donĂąâŹâąt feel like cooking there are plenty of local restaurants and cafes.Thoroughly recommend The Courtyard for breakfast , lunch or excellent home baked cakes. Both us and our dog love the area.

Wonderful holiday home with excellent access to the beach.
Wonderful holiday home with excellent access to the beach. House was very clean and comfortable. The lady who ran it was helpful and went out of her way to provide a wet suit for our granddaughter. The welcome package included home made Tiffin which was very tasty.

We had a super couple of weeks staying at Sandy View.
We had a super couple of weeks staying at Sandy View. The flat is spacious and brilliantly equipped - right down to a mixer and a blender in case you want to do a bit of baking! Beadnell is a lovely beach, and being so close to it was a blessing for our frequent trips back and forth with wetsuits and paddleboard.
Debra is a great host, and we particularly appreciated the welcome pack - the tiffin was yummy.

Excellent self catering accommodation.
Excellent self catering accommodation. Really good facilities and very well equipped. The owners have thought of everything. Can't think of any negatives, very close to beach, not too far from the local shop and pub. Would love to book/visit again. Thank you.

Very nice clean, comfortable, nicely furnished, well equipped apartment on a small estate very close
Very nice clean, comfortable, nicely furnished, well equipped apartment on a small estate very close to the beach with a very slight view of the sea. There is a dishwasher and washing machine with supplies and a small tumble drier which needs to be moved to be used. There is a small balcony with a small table and 4 small chairs. Well provided with cleaning materials including bin liners and essentials like tea and coffee on arrival. The toilet did not flush easily but Northumbrian Cottages had it sorted the same day I reported it. Some of the window mechanisms had seized up probably due to corrosion of the mechanisms. I took an extension lead which proved useful as some of the sockets were in inconvenient places. The apartment has allocated parking at the side and unallocated parking at the back. There was sometimes noise from dogs (it is a popular development for dog owners) and very occasionally from people walking back to the caravan sites and other properties at the end of the road, as the bedrooms face the road. There is triple glazing if you donât mind the windows closed. The shower over the bath, is powerful and uses an electric pump from a hot water tank, which can be boosted. There is a glass screen which (unusually) seals fairly effectively against the bath if it is positioned centrally on the bath edge. Water leakage to the flat below has obviously been an issue but, with care so as not to splash outside the screen, this should not be a problem although water may also splash over the sink edge.
