Welcome to Southgate Courtyard "Walk to the beach". This newly updated one bedroom condo is located only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Southgate beach. Our East end location is only a few minutes drive from some of the islands most idyllic beaches, and historic Christiansted's shops and restaurants.

Walk to the Beach is situated in a quiet gated community, with lush tropical landscaping and a large private pool. This 2nd story corner unit has high vaulted ceilings and an abundance of natural light. This light and airy condo is equipped for your day at the beach and has a fully stocked kitchen with Keurig, complimentary K-cups and coffee pot. We offer keyless entry, in-unit washer/dryer, high-speed internet, smart TVs, and a reverse osmosis water filtration system so no need to buy drinking water during your stay.

Bask in the sun around the pool, take advantage of one of the many covered lounging areas, or take in the Westerly trade winds from your private balcony. Enjoy the day at Southgate beach (Chenay Bay) with our beach cart, chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear and cooler. We also have an outdoor shower for you to rinse off after your day at the beach!!

After a great day in the sun, no need to cook, this unit is in walking distance to two great iconic Island restaurants, Cheeseburgers In America's Paradise and Bungalows.

Please clean up after yourselves in the common areas and pool. No trash should be left. No glass used. No cigarette butts on the ground.
Please take care to shower before entering the pool to remove all sand. Sand in the pool is detriment to the chemistry, surface, and equipment.

Clean, Conveniently Located Condo in a Lovely Complex

Pictures don't do the condo justice, and it's located close to town and close to a beautiful beach. The swimming pool is all 5 feet deep and is really big.

Wonderful little cottage very close to a beautiful beach

This little place was wonderful! Very clean and stocked with whatever you may need to cook and head down to the beach. The beach that is close to the house, Chenay Bay, is absolutely beautiful. Quiet, shady and secluded, it was our go to after exploring other areas of the island. You can walk, but you really should rent a car if you’re going to St. Croix. Cheeseburger in Americas Paradise is a couple minute walk and has great food and drinks. We had a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to go back to this beautiful place!!

Perfect for us as a couple for a long term stay. short on pots and pans but we made do. disappointed that, after staying for two years, the unit was booked for someone else for 2026 before we even had a chance to renew it for ourselves

Beautifully decorated condo on luscious grounds in a gated community. Condo is conveniently located but still lots of privacy. Condo was very clean and has everything you need for a day at the beach.There is a restaurant within walking distance that was excellent! We will definitely return! Wasabi mash potatoes!

Truly enjoyed this condo. Although it has no ocean view, it has a great pool and a perfect location near many excellent restaurants. The condo is well equipped, everything is in perfect working condition. The nearby beach is beautiful and easily accessible by car. The property Manager ensured everything met our expectations. Lovely Place

If you just plan to stay away from people this is the perfect spot. We loved everything about it but we couldn't get a taxi or uber to take us to different parts of the Island. If you stay here, rent a car and go to the store for food for before the grill opens at Cheeseburger in Paradise. The beach is within walking distance, but nothing else other then Cheeseburger in Paradise (inexpensive drinks). We DID really enjoy staying with only being able to get food after 4pm, hopefully that will change.

A Place To Call Home

My wife and I stayed here for 7 days. It wasn't hard to imagine that this was our own apartment, and we loved it. After a day of activities on the island, it was a pleasure to come home to a clean place, gated and secure place, and a refreshing, huge salt water pool. We loved being in a gated community. The few regular tenants we met were kind. The place cools down fairly quickly. The kitchen essentials were a nice addition. We left salt and two drinking glasses to pay it forward to next guests. The laundry machine is our only gripe. It didnt work very well. on the "normal" setting, it filled with water and stopped. had to drain and spin to get it to reset. Other than that is a great place to call home for a week. We'll be back...hopefully the washing machine gets fixed though.

This is a wonderful condo overlooking a beautiful pool, which we swam or floated in twice a day. Close to town and all of the east-side beaches. Comfortable, clean and well appointed.

Well maintained older units in quiet, convenient location

We were very pleased with the cleanliness, decor and convenience of this unit. The water filter was especially appreciated, as we had purchased way too many cases of bottled water on our last visit to the island. The location was also much quieter, to our liking, than a previous stay in the Christiansted urban area. The renovated pool is a great amenity. If we had any constructive criticism, the grounds, plantings and landscaping could be improved, but we agree that the investment in the pool improvements are more important.

Significantly Over Delivered Expectations!

So many amenities that I'm not used to from stays very close to this one. Super clean, no bugs, washer dryer, quite and peaceful environment, gated piece of mind, immaculate pool. My sister and I really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to staying again!

What a fantastic time we had staying at this beautiful property and exploring the island! Everything we could have wanted was located in the condo and property. Beautiful, calm decor, clean, well appointed and a great location! Walking distance from a beach, bar and grill and awesome information from the host identifying all the great restaurants, beaches and places to explore on the island. We will be back!
