We are a legal "VRBO", with a 98% Five Star Rating! Maintained Premier and Super Host Status every quarter since opening in 2016!

Terri Smith and Jeff Zemanek had a vision to create a small boutique hotel allowing guest to experience the best of Historic Newport.

The Newport Inn is located at 634 Monmouth St., close to restaurants, family activities, great views, nightlife, sporting events (20-minute walk for a ballgame), river fronts in Newport and downtown Cincinnati. You’ll love the ambiance, the people, the outdoors space, the lively neighborhood. Make sure to check out Newport on the Levee with live music, comedy clubs, and a world class aquarium. Seasonal Ghost Tours, as well as Gangster Tours will give you a historic perspective of this quaint town!

There are two newer music venues, MegaCorp and Brady just blocks away!!

This particular suite is great for two couples to explore the city and nightlife, or for families taking in games, the aquarium, tours, and more!

This 900 sqft, second floor suite is a 2 BR (King Serta i-Comfort beds) with a non-working fireplace in each, and a large walk-in shower. Located just a few blocks from the Ohio River, we are located right in the heart of the historic district in a beautiful turn of the century building. If you would also like to experience the big city, a walk or shuttle ride to downtown Cincinnati creates a whole new dimension. The end result is a luxurious stay, which combines the best of both worlds.

Jeff's career led him to spending many nights in hotels and not always satisfied by what he found. When we decided to build an inn, there were criteria which had to be met: 1. Great beds! 2. Great shower! 3. Variety of pillows! 4. Peace and quiet! 5. Free Wi-Fi! 6. HD TVs with HD signal! 7. Outside area to relax! 8. A full kitchen to make it feel like home! Lastly, a friendly staff who is there to help with recommendations or whatever is needed to make it a special stay!!

Red Bikes is a block away to rent.

PRIVATE PARKING LOT INCLUDED for two cars, and is directly behind the inn!

I suggest pulling up the property on Google maps & checking the location from street view . The property itself is very nice.The kitchen and living room are spacious, as are the 2 bedrooms.The bathroom is good size and updated with modern upgrades.Being in the heart of Newport, the area is very walkable.The best part is that the Newport Pizza company is just a block away. On the subject of restaurants, the beautiful young lady tending bar at Urban Chick recommended the Mexican restaurant next door, and it was very good as well.I highly recommend Newport Inn number one.

We’ve stayed a few places when we come to town for Bengals games but haven’t really loved any of them until this! Super cute place, comfortable beds, clean. Great communication with the owners, easy to follow instructions for check in/out. We enjoyed spending part of the evening at the little bar downstairs. We will definitely return!

We loved our stay and the kindness of our hosts as well as additional personnel. The place was really charming. The location was great for walking to the levee and even across the bridge to the ballpark and concert venue. The token for cocktails was a nice bonus. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the towels were fluffy. The hosts had snacks and water available. The town was super charming and walkable. The Mexican restaurant close-by was wonderful. While I assume there is nothing the hosts can do about it, we were a bit surprised by there being particular clubs nearby. We were there on a weeknight and did not experience any trouble, but it should at least be something guests are aware of (for safety and atmosphere purposes). This is the only reason any of our ratings of this place were not quite perfect. All in all, this was a great stay! Free parking on a game day was definitely a bonus, too.

Just a beautiful cottage feel, so clean and cozy. We spent a lot of time on the covered porch! It was so close to nice restaurants and the Aquarium was just about a 7 minute walk. Would love to stay here again! Next time going to do the ghost tour!!

Great location, extremely hospitable hosts. Don't be concerned about it being above a business and right in the middle of downtown, the room is inviting, cozy and quiet! Beds were comfortable. Outstanding experience! Jeff and Terri are the perfect hosts. Great communication, easy check-in/out process, location can’t be beat. Super clean and comfortable. Two large bedrooms, living room and kitchen with island. Property located in an historic district and very walkable to many points of interests. Small town vibe. On-site free parking is a major plus. We were partial to La Mexicana, Trailhead Coffee and Press. There are many food options within walking distance. Highly recommended. Can’t wait for our next stay!

Be sure to park in back and enter through that porch. Front door has you go up VERY steep steps. Hallways were muggy and not great but as soon as we walked into our actual unit it was fantastic.
