Beautiful relaxing views highlight this upstairs luxury 700 sq ft apartment in a private home only one mile from Clarksdale MS in a gated community. This 2 bedroom guest suite features a private, separate entrance , beautiful antiques , large 2 tiered deck with gas fire pit overlooking the banks of the Sunflower River. A cargo lift for luggage & stairs for guests, & a large outside gas grill .
The space:
Your accommodations will be the entire upstairs of a lovely southern late 1800's home on the Sunflower River. There is a private outside entrance by stairs up to the 2nd floor deck where you enter your upstairs apartment. There are 2 bedrooms which share a bath with a jacuzzi tub/shower. One bedroom is filled with lovely Victorian antiques which includes a queen antique four poster bed. There is a sitting area in this room with two comfy chairs, a loveseat and a 65"TV . There is also a lovely desk area. As well as a twin pull out trundle under the queen bed.
The second room of the apartment is a combination living room and king bed room with 65" smart tv.. It has a large sectional and comfy chair as well as a wonderfully comfortable King sized bed. There is a twin air mattresson a frame for additional guest .The crib mentioned is actually a pack and play and can be set up if needed. Both rooms have YouTube TV , prime video and Netflix and Internet access with free wifi. There is also a kitchen with sink, microwave, glass top electric stove, fridge, coffee, coffee pot, blender and toaster . There is an iron and ironing board in the closet withthe aur mattress . . There are desks in both bedrooms. Beautiful views and very private, you are only one mile from the blues mecca of downtown Clarksdale and only 4 minutes by car to Hopson Commissary and Shack Up Inn area..
This is a sister property to the"Sunflower Cottage on the River" and it is right next door if you need room for more guests. There is also The Sunflower Suite on the River” downstairs if you need more space.
Guest access:
Guests have access to the entire upstairs , 2 bedroom ,1 bath suite with kitchen , as well as the upstairs deck overlooking the Sunflower riverbank. The top deck has a comfortable outside sectional, a round dining table with 4 swivel chairs, a firepit and a fountain. The lower deck has a pair of chairs for just relaxing.

Walks along the riverbank to see wildlife and enjoy nature are a plus.. The entire grounds behind both the Sunflower Penthouse and the Sunflower Cottage as well as the area over to the old barns is available to roam and discover. Or you might like to take a walk back up the lane and go discovering along the turnrows of the cotton field . Check out the old log cabin right across the road. It was moved from my great,great grandparents old family farm in South Mississippi.

Upon arrival to your accommodations, you should pull down to the garage end of the house for the stairs up to your apartment. There is a cargo lift available right there for your luggage., stairs available for you, and loads of parking across from the house. There is a gas grill for a cookout right by the stairs , with a gas fire pit upstairs on main deck and a kitchen just steps away inside the suite.
You can get a great view of a full moon at night when you are outside enjoying the deck.

Other things to note:
The private outside entrance to the entire upstairs apartment is thru a French door on the upstairs deck going into the queen bedroom/sitting room. The entrance from the outside into the 2nd king bedroom/ living room is through the queen suite but the bath has separate private entrances from each bedroom
