This is a great hotel to stay at. The bar had all the drinks I needed, and the kitchen also had great food. The staff were respectable and very helpful. It was family oriented, even though I didn't have a family. All around it was a great stay 5 stars.

It was freezing in the rooms I asked if the can turn up the heat because you can’t do it from the rooms ant it was still cold. We went to go to the pool and couldn’t get in I had to call the front desk and they had to let us in and out when done. We went to the rooms to take a shower and neither room the water wouldn’t get hot we ran it about 20 minutes and it was still cold. I called the front desk about nine times to report the problem and nobody answered so finally I went down there and it still took awhile to get someone. I told them I wanted to leave and wanted my money back.

On site free parking, friendly service. Basic rooms nothing fancy but pretty clean and the price is right. Perfect if coming to the area for a show at Lorain Palace or Black River Landing easy walk to both. A few decent bars near by , Speak of the Devil for drinks, Brass & Bronze has good food and decent selection of cocktails, and Scorchers is a neighborhood soorts bar to grab a beer or "bar food"

Staff is great and nice having a restaurant on site. The rooms need some help. Part of the problem may be the lightbulbs as they give off a cold, institution feel; the mattress and bedding are just “ok.”
