First floor beach condo
My place is great for couples, sports enthusiasts, business travelers, graduate students, and families with kids.
Cocoa Beach Villas Unit #2 is located on the ground floor, south side of the building, and is direct ocean front. This unit has a furnished patio and has full access to the beach, front & back yard, outdoor shower, charcoal grill, laundry room, and beach closet. Cable TV service and streaming services are provided for the one 48 " SMART TV in the living room.
Cocoa Beach Villas consists of only four units. Guests will use of one entire two bedroom, one bath, direct ocean front unit and each unit comes with an indoor garage. Cocoa Beach Villas holds current vacation rental licenses with the State of Florida, Brevard County, and the City of Cocoa Beach. Coded doors are used for an easy check-in, and two sets of keys and a garage door opener for each unit can be found hanging above the refrigerator.
I live locally and I am available to assist my guests as needed, but mostly, I give my guests the space and privacy they desire. I have provided a guidebook on this site with recommended food stores, restaurants, and fun things to do in the area.
We are located in a quiet, residential area and you can enjoy watching the locals surf, kite board, boogie & paddle board while you relax on your very own white sandy beach. To enjoy a night out, downtown Cocoa Beach is just 1.5 miles down the road with plenty food & spirits to enjoy.
Bike rentals cost $10/day from most of our local surf shops and can be great fun to use to explore our area.
The Cocoa Beach Trolley service picks ups one block north of Cocoa Beach Villas and makes stops north to downtown Cocoa Beach, to our world famous surf shops, and Port Canaveral. One way fare is $1.50/per person.
Our beach has light restrictions during turtle nesting season from May 1st to October 31st. During this time period, no lights from the unit can illuminate the beach from dawn to dusk. It is important to also note that Florida's heat, humidity, and rain can, unfortunately, bring critters and creatures onto the grounds, into the hallways and the unit. This unit is treated regularly for these unwanted guests, but to ensure they remain outside, please be mindful to keep all doors, screens, and windows closed. Should such a guest find it's way into your unit, we have provided you with bug spray, mops, brooms, and trash bags to remedy the situation quickly and effectively. Thank you.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beachfront property! The location is gorgeous, right on the beach with a stunning view. The unit was very clean upon arrival, and the beds were comfortable. It was the perfect place for our family of four, and our kids had an amazing time. This was our second time staying at this property. We also truly appreciated the hostâs kindness and excellent communication throughout our stay.We canât wait to book another future stay here!
Frankly, the property isn't "well maintained at all" as stated by owner when the fiasco of door latch locking me out and needed repair to take door off during my stay. I had a 100% paid place I could not 100% use. I ask for a small credit & was refused. see below property issues.
1) a large area of the ceiling above the patio doors is peeling from an obvious water leak,
2) the patio jam is rusted and falling apart,
3) the sliding door screen is off the jam and does not slide shut,
4) patio windows need to be replaced because you cannot even see out of them clearly for the beach view due to the salt air encroached between the windows and clouded them. You can also hear and feel the wind come through the doors,
5) the sheer weave grommet drapes are aged and all rusted at top and they do not cover the full width of the window - with that said,
6) you have no privacy at night as you can see right thru the drapes and in between them. As a single woman traveling, to feel safe I had to put up a blanket to assure no one could look in - remember, this is on the first floor and the public beach access is right next door.
I would love to recommend the place for others, but I cannot do to the condition of the property and the unyielding owner to respect and honor her paying guests.
