Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bathmat for each shower or tub.
Special Event Details: (Optional for event/wedding reservations only). This home offers Special Event accommodations for your Outer Banks Wedding or special event allowing up to 50 guests to attend your event. This home may only be over-occupied during the event date and the event times listed on the Special Events Request Form and Lease Addendum required to be signed and returned with your Lease Agreement. Tents and canopies cannot be placed anywhere on the premises without permission from Brindley Beach Vacations. (unless otherwise advertised). Every Special Event reservation will have 2 additional fees that are further explained on the Special Events Request form and Lease Addendum: (1) Event Security Deposit: $1500, this security deposit is refundable pending no damage is done to the home during your vacation lease period. The security deposit will be used to pay for carpet cleaning if needed after the event, or any other damages done to the home during your vacation lease period/event. (2) Event Fee: $1000, the event fee is a mandatory fee paid in addition to the rental rate on all special event reservations.
The home is nice and the views are beautiful. We had a wedding reception in the yard and it was beautiful. My only negatives are that there is only 1 refrigerator on the property. This home is used as a venue and desperately needs an additional refrigerator! Also, there were no frying pans which made fixing breakfast difficult.
Great places to bike, beautiful views of the sound, easy to put in our paddle boards right from the yard, enjoyed the hot tub, kitchen was pretty well stocked (nice quality cookware), easy walk to the pool, beach was a little far to walk with all the gear, but nice free public parking near beach.
Basement bathroom had a broken toilet flusher thing, parking said only three cars but we were able to fit 3 trucks and two cars. We were also able to use the parking lot at the clubhouse if needed. Beds could be a little more comfortable, but not terrible. We had a great time and made some wonderful memories!!!
We stayed at this home for two weeks. The view of the sound was spectacular and the pine tree provided shade.
This home is in serious need of interior and exterior attention. The house is very dirty, the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen are a wreck, and there are cobwebs all over the inside living spaces. We have owned vacation rental properties and rented vacation houses and it is clear the owners of this home have little pride.
This is a great house in a great position. Lots of space in the house and places for people to sleep, sit and eat. As other's have suggested, a few things could be updated. The view of the bay is unbeatable and the backyard backing onto the water is really a wonderful way to relax. Brindley Beach were generally good to deal with. The reason for only four stars was that the house was unacceptably dirty when we arrived. Given that Brindley Beach were advertising special COVID cleaning, it was shocking that the house had not been cleaned to even basic standards. Hair in the baths, dirt everywhere, old food in kitchen cabinets. A cleaning crew was sent in the evening but we had already cleaned house top to bottom. When we visited offices, others were complaining of same issue. Overall a very good experience.
