We unfortunately had a disappointing experience at El Constante this time.The primary issue is that the listing is misleading. The VRBO photos show a balcony with a clear ocean-facing view, which was the main reason we chose this unit over another available (and more updated) option in the same complex. In reality, the balcony faces away from the sea and the view is obstructed, which did not match what was advertised. We raised this with the property manager during our stay and shared photos, but were told the listing was “correct.”In addition, the internet was down throughout our entire stay, which meant we were unable to use the TVs or any connected services.The unit itself lacked some basic finishing touches and upkeep. There was only one beside table - on one side in the main bedroom - and no table lamps, and several kitchen items (plates, glasses, and cutlery) felt sticky and appeared not to have been properly cleaned or used in some time. While the fridge worked well and the oven —though quite old — was functional, the overall condition did not reflect the price.We again followed up with the property manager after our stay regarding the misleading listing and have not received a meaningful response beyond being told they are “looking into it.”It’s worth noting that El Constante is a great complex and we have stayed in other units here before with much better experiences. For a similar price, there are significantly nicer and more updated units available
