From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of luxury, attention to detail, and genuinely warm hospitality. It is truly difficult to single out any individual or department for praise, as the entire resort operated with the seamless precision of a Swiss watch. Every service, from the concierge and restaurants to the groundskeeping and entertainment, functioned at the absolute highest level. The collective effort to create a flawless, comfortable, and luxurious environment was palpable and deeply appreciated. The entire staff works in perfect harmony, each one striving to ensure every guest feels special and cared for. While everyone deserves our thanks, we would be remiss not to offer our profound gratitude to the wonderful butler team who took such impeccable care of our room, 4408. Under the expert guidance of Head Butler Katia, they anticipated our needs with grace and discretion. The property is pricy for what is offered. We have stayed in the Cancun area every year for over 10 years. We wanted to stay at a place with good food and a nice beach. The beach was very nice and clean, however the rest of the resort was below average. The check in agent was rude and made me feel like a beggar when I asked for a room upgrade. I have never asked for an upgrade, although Expedia has emailed me multiple times stating that I was qualified for one. The agent was pompous and belittling. 50% of the time the staff was inattentive and made you feel as if you were a burden on there day. Even when asking where you could get a towel or where the washrooms were. We are not the type to not tip everywhere we go, we are accustomed to this and tip each person who helps and attends to us, and will tip even if someone is less than friendly. The food and restaurant options were lack luster, very few offerings, especially for the price we paid. For breakfast there was a buffet with the same options everyday. For lunch the only options were two buffets with the same offerings at each one and same food everyday. No change of cuisines or dishes. This is not what we are used to. Most places at least change up the cuisine or theme. This is the same for the dinner buffet, same food but the options were less and were worse at night. We know this because our meals were so bad at the restaurants for dinner that we would go by the buffet to see what was offered.
