You will be a few meters from the museum, sea ferry and central park.
You can enjoy a private room with the necessary to feel comfortable and spend a pleasant stay, free parking in nearby streets.

I have sent numerous emails about this apartment. You allowed the hose to claim (he still claims) that this apartment has a kitchen, which implies a place to cook. There is a toaster, no cooking appliance or cooking pans. This is a poorly equipped kitchenette, no kitchen. False advertising. The only chairs turn over if you don't hold them down when you stand. Toilet closet is barely big enough to get into. On a major street. Very noisy.

Great location

Very close to restaurants, coffee shops and the ocean. I was looking forward to using a kettle to make tea, since a kettle was in the description but we were given a coffee maker since the coffee maker in the apartment didn't work. This was an ok apartment for sleeping.The host was very responsive and polite.

Pros and Cons of Jorge's apartment

Jorge was very helpful and the apartment is nice. It was very clean. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. The main cons are the noise and the kitchen. It faces the street so there's a lot of noise from cars, scooters and people talking, laughing, etc. It was very difficult to have a good sleep even with earplugs. It is extremely noisy. On the other hand the kitchen is very basic. You can't really cook anything just prepare coffee, toast bread or chop some fruit as there's no even an electric single burner, a pan, a pot or cooking utensils so you can't even make scramble eggs in the morning. The courtains don't block completely the light at night and there's a hard light coming from the window from the lamp-post just outside.

Perfect couples apartment next to el centro

Great little place. Jorge is very nice. La Candelara restaurant across the street is great. The little bakery is also across the street for an early morning coffee and pastry. Easy walking distance to nearly EVERYTHING. Would recommend.

Great Location - Just needs the door fixed

Pros: Great location, you can see the ocean looking down the street when you step outside. We felt very safe. The restaurants and shops across the street from the apartment are wonderful and employees were friendly. Within walking distance to almost anything downtown. Apartment was clean and the owner was very accommodating bringing us more filtered water and towels for our extended stay. The price was great, what we paid for 10 days would have been what we'd pay for 2 nights in one of the other high end hotels. Being in the center of town gave us a fantastic cultural experience and we were able to make new friendships with so many locals. Cons: The door is not fitted correctly, so it doesn't open as it suould and leaves a gap at the top. The sounds of the cars/scooters and their sea salt brakes made it impossible to sleep without earplugs. The air conditioner worked great but we felt so much of the cold air was lost to the door, we also had a lizard sneak in from the gap as well.

Close to everything

It was what we were looking for. We wanted to be in a central location with nearby restaurants and activity. Very short walk to a main plaza where you could shop, eat and enjoy a cocktail and live music. The room itself was fairly basic but what we wanted. Very clean. We did not use the kitchen but there was a huge dispenser for drinking water. The king size bed had a decent mattress. A little too firm for me but you could tell it was not an old mattress. If I were to improve anything it would be a memory foam mattress topper, leave more towels for longer stays, and maybe 4 pillows. It really was a good stay.
