Avis pour Tranquil Lighthouse: Incredible Valley Views
Our group of families/friends loved this property. The views are stunning and it was a tranquil spot. The common areas were great for us to hang out and the bedrooms very comfortable.
The house was great. The area beautiful and peaceful. The check in and check out was seamless. I do wish the description would have mentioned it takes a good 20 minutes to get to town and to the house from the main hwy.
Please know that if you're coming in June or July the mosquitoes are horrid, you will be eaten alive. (Wish I would've known how bad they were, so I could've been prepared). Also, there are SO many light switches, it'll have you guessing the whole time! The cool nights were a blessing! Star gazing amazing! Fits a big family! Dining room view is to die for! I wish there were more ceiling fans, due to how the picture windows heat up the upstairs, extra ceiling fans would be great!
House was perfect for us, plenty of room. Mosquitos at night so beware! Temp inside house was at least 80 during June when we were there, there is a small AC in upstairs. Pretty far from town-which is very small but quaint and some cool little shops. Very artsy area! but we did some exploring and had a wonderful âsibling reunionâ!
Nice big house, plenty of room for two families!Noteâthe kitchen is upstairs! Be ready to carry that cooler up a long flight of stairsâŠ.It is an hour to Great Sand Dunes, and almost that to most SLV locations.
Great view of the San Luis Valley and San Juan Mountains. The main view from the dining room is spectacular! We played games at the table and would stop to discuss the view and watch the sunset. Very inspiring and created a peaceful fun vibe while we played games. Very private and peaceful location. Walkable neighborhood with great views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. We drove to the Colorado Gator Farm and were not Disappointed. Rescue reptiles in Colorado so cool! We would defiantly stay at the Tranquil Lighthouse again and keep exploring The San Luis Valley.
This property was very clean and the view was amazing! The owner is a good communicator. The lay-out of the VRBO worked well for our family of 9 adults. We did not realize that mosquitos are very bad during some of June and some of July every year. We visited the dunes and REALLY enjoyed our time there.
Very comfortable space for a large group. In early July the mosquitos were so bad we didnât get to spend any time outside on the property, but we had room inside to enjoy ourselves and cook meals. The view over the valley is spectacular in the morning and after sundown, but the shades must be drawn in the afternoon or it heats up inside. Overall a good experience!
This was perfect for our family, as five bedrooms (and the washer/dryer) came in handy. The binder on the property was great, and we liked Crestone and the surrounding area a lot. It was a bit of a drive to the Sand Dunes entrance, but we knew that ahead of time, and the location worked well.
This house is unique because it has 5 bedrooms which makes it possible to stay with a group of friends all in one place. We loved the views and the location. The house was clean and the kitchen a good size for our group. Highly recommend this property!
We had a really wonderful time at the Lighthouse. Amazing views and great kitchen for cooking meals with friends which was fully equipped. Plenty of space for every one. I would stay there again. Thank you!
We had a great time at this lovely Crestone house. Spent our days hiking and at the sand dunes. Spent the evenings enjoying the sunset from the house and star gazing. The house is very clean, and well stocked. Couldnât ask for more! Great place to rent!
We rented the home for our Spring Break. There was a misunderstanding on my part but Erin was very accommodating. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, the 2nd floor was spectacular with the views. Very peaceful. We had great sunny weather so in the afternoon it did get warm if you didn't close the shades. We were excited to bring our dogs, however, they did not want to climb the spiral staircase. We were able at one point to get them up the main front stairs which took time but overall they were comfortable as well. We hit the Sand Dunes, Alamosa, Trails, etc. Not much going on in Crestone but this is why you rent this beautiful place - to get away.
