This hotel is perfectly located within 3 minutes’ walk of the old town. It’s set back from the main row at the front and has spacious grounds with a good sized swimming pool. There’s a good restaurant on site, and a pool-side bar which also serves food. The rooms are clean, spacious and light, with the best ones overlooking the pool and garden. Those overlooking the road at the back can be a bit noisy. Staff are very friendly and helpful, giving lots of information about the town when you arrive. Laundry was reasonably priced and efficient. There is a very good choice of food for breakfast, catering to both Asian and western tastes. There’s also a small gym, and a book swap.

We really enjoyed our stay here at the hotel was very comfortable. The room was peaceful. If you stay on the other side, there is a school and they speak on loudspeakers there all day starting from early in the morning, but our side was quiet and peaceful. The room had all the basic amenities, including a fridge and a hot water maker. There was a closet, central air and shutter blinds that made it somewhat of a blackout curtain. Overall, I would say the beds in Vietnam are much firmer than we might be used to in the United States it’s almost like sleeping on the floor so if you have a difficult time that might be something that you will be dealing with even if the hotel is very nice. A bit of warning if you do exchange money at the hotel from US dollars to dong it’s a one-way street. They will not exchange your money back. Otherwise the food was nice. The ambience was great at breakfast and there was a nice variety of fruit, vegetables, even noodles and rice for breakfast. The staff was very polite and it was very walkable to the historic area very central and easy to access everything.

The whole hotel experience was excellent fron start to finish,all staff were brilliant and helpful and i felt well looked after. The room was spacious and had a view. The buffet breakfasts were good and you had the option of eating inside or outside. The surroundings were restful.

The hotel and staff are all outstanding. The room was to a high spec and breakfast had a wide choice of food, all of which was excellent. Everything was faultless. It is on the edge of Hoi An out town so only a stone’s throw to shops, markets and historic buildings.

This was one of 5 hotels we stayed in while in Vietnam. The location is convenient, especially since there were 6 of us so we could come and go to town. BUT next to the hotel is a school where the kids start singing outside with speakers at 6:45 am and there was an alarm around the pool that went off from 4 am until about 4:45 Am so if you are not a morning person and want to get up that early it's a bit ruff. Spa is ok - 20% off is only on massages. Walking back from spa about 5:30 pm had a rat run by the door to our part of the hotel. Only rat I saw during our 2 week stay in Vietnam. Don't do laundry here - daughter had underwear ,socks and a couple of t-shirts cleaned - it was USD 65- It's USD 1.33 for each underwear.

Great location, Staff at the reception were great however staff at the restaurant during breakfast time were very poorly trained or not trained at all, hardly anyone spoke English and couple of staff who spoke English spoke very poorly. Our room streaked of dampness. The whole complex is very tired, falling apart, cabinetry is falling apart. This hotel should be rated 1 or 2. Will not stay here again and do not recommend it to anyone, not even your pets.

The setting of this hotel is very nice, location is great.. close to Historic centre. Staff are helpful. Great coffees! However, our rooms were terrible. 337 & 338 were located is the bad quarter off the building. There is a no view, balcony - window is blocked off. The air con in 337 is not adjustable. The fridge is 338 was so noisy, I could not sleep. I hope the hotel can improve these rooms for the benefit of other guests. Thankfully, we had only one night there.

The property is amazing, the breakfast is incredible and overall the hotel is wonderful and would recommend. Only sort of funny problem is this: there is a children’s school directly behind the hotel, and they have a full blown concert/assembly every single morning at 6AM. And it is not just loud it is positively booming - they must have a massive speaker system. It goes on for an hour and a half, and you can hear announcements, music, children being happy and laughter. Wasn’t a big deal for us since we are early risers and my wife found it adorable, but if you don’t want to be woken up at 6AM to Vietnamese music on a 3 foot subwoofer, perhaps stay elsewhere or request to not have the back left corner building.
