Fully renovated and filled with natural light “Lakewood” is your ideal Daylesford retreat located only minutes’ walk from the iconic Lake Daylesford.

Enter into a beautifully styled living room with leather couches, smart TV and a wood fire. French doors opening out to a deck with outdoor dining. Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and beautiful views from every window.

Lakewood has 3 bedrooms, the master is a king with ensuite and large walk in wardrobe along with workstation. Two additional queen bedrooms with a central bathroom and spa. Evaporate cooling and central heating means you will always be comfortable year-round. Laundry with washing machine and dryer.

From our outdoor deck you will catch glimpses of the lake as you enjoy a BBQ. Or you can wander down the garden path to the wonderful firepit where you can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine. Walk down past the fire pit and take the stairs for direct access to the lake. Lakewood has been totally refurbished and is not a dog friendly property.

Lakewood has so much to offer and with Lake Daylesford on your door step you may never want to leave.

Comfortable and convenient

This was a lovely house to stay in. It had everything a family could possibly need. I loved the very well equipped kitchen as we cooked dinner each night. Warm and cosy with the wood burner and ducted heating. I wish the weather had been good enough to set out side by the outdoor fire pit. Lovely garden and right by lots of walks around the lake. Only a few minutes drive into the centre of Daysleford

Cosy cottage near the lake

We were “blessed” with a cold, wet and stormy weekend so we loved the woodfire stove and snuggled under the softest rugs to read. The kitchen was so well supplied, the bed linen was high quality and the location could not be beaten. The gardens and outdoor deck furniture were but a dream on this trip, but we can’t wait to return when the sun is shining and we can make the most of them. Love the self check in and the communication with Daylesford Country Retreats was excellent.
