House was nice and spacious! Had a old smell to it though! No concerns! Read up on this property supposedly it is haunted. Well I suppose the ghost likes my family because we had no issues at all! Probably, would not stay there again since it really is not my style and overly priced, however, it was just accommodating for our large family at the time!
We had family and friends in town for a wedding reception. We decided to book this lovely home for them to stay in for the weekend!
Every person who stayed there just raved about the property.. It is gorgeous. Beautifully furnished. Clean. Convenient location. Right on tbe River. All amenities.
Add to that top notch, professional communication with the owner.. who was very responsive and accommodating.
I highly recommend Turnbridge Manor!!
I will admit I am a little jealous that my friends and family got to stay there and I didn't. Lol.
An immaculate historic home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each room has an historic vibe with modern comforts. Comfy beds, lots of pillows, blankets, and towels. Toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, soap all supplied. Bathrooms and closets all very nice. The commercial kitchen is well stocked and perfect for a large group. Lots of paper products, spices, coffee, etc. The most amazing part of this property is the outdoor living space with tables, chairs, and multiple seating areas leading down to tho water. Thereâs a waterfall and fire pit. Canoe and kayak available. And the front porch with comfy rockers. Walkable to anything in town and easy access to the highway. Itâs way beyond what the photos show!! We would love to stay here again.
My family was in the Eastern Shore for a wedding. It was so nice to have a space large enough to accommodate all 10 of us. Very clean. Nicely decorated. Lots of lovely spaces to have quiet conversations. Best of all communication with the host was easy and prompt. I would highly recommend .
We were delighted with the large kitchen, the pretty historic property, the nice bedrooms, up to date bathrooms and numerous very nicely equipped seating areas. The back yard was a lovely, long slope that passes by a pretty rock pond and going down to the water, with a little deck with Adirondack chairs perfect for enjoying morning coffee. There were two different screened in porches, one with bistro tables and one with comfy chairs and couches. The mattresses were comfortable, and all the rooms and linens were clean and fresh. Two of the sitting rooms had gas fireplaces -- we were already planning our next visit for the cooler weather! The free coffee (Keurig and drip) was really appreciated. The home is elegantly decorated, yet still felt cozy. I would love to come back again!
OMG!! This exceeded our expectations so much. The photos don't do justice to the space we had. They thought of everything! Great kitchen- amazing supplies. Coffee area was a treat- paper products and travel cups too!! But our favorite- the robes!! We felt like royalty! The yard was also lovely. What a great space. We walked around town- not super exciting but we had our group so we didn't mind.
The front porch had awesome rocking chairs.
We had great and quick communications and just a wonderful stay.
Thank you for sharing your lovely home. We hope to stay longer another time đ
This was a lovely property! We stayed for a night for a bachelorette party and really enjoyed our time in the house! We wished we'd planned to stay longer & definitely would consider renting again if we come back to the area! The house was lovely and so was the outdoor space. When we arrived, all we wanted to do was sit in the yard and look out on the water. We loved the way the history of the house was presented & preserved while still incorporating modernization to make it a comfortable space to stay. We all agreed that if we come back to Denton for any reason, we'd love to stay here again!
We had a great girls weekend! The house was lovely and plenty large enough for five friends. The backyard was beautiful with the pond/waterfall and a view of the river. Happily, the weather was extra warm for April and we were able to enjoy the porch and backyard. We drove to St. Michaels for the Sea Glass Festival which was a fun experience. Our host was very quick to respond and very helpful with any questions we had.
We rented this wonderful home for Christmas and had the most relaxing time.
The house is just as advertised and the owner a delight to work with. We especially loved the proximity to the square and how walkable it was to everything.
I canât wait to rent it again during warm weather to enjoy all the wonderful porches and the outdoor area.
Four friends and I stayed at this property overnight, and it was wonderful. The house is clean, well-appointed, and welcoming; there is great indoor and outdoor space, and I would happily go back. It is also well situated to walk into town!
Our family gathered for an Easter weekend gathering. The weather was perfect to spend time outside on porches, arbor and near waterfall. One of our family members lives on Martinak State Park which is 2 miles away. We enjoyed hiking there. Coincidentally, the Canna Festival was going on and added some fun to the weekend with live bands and food snd clothing vendors
