â PET POLICY This property is dog-friendly, specific rules regarding pets at the property are as follows: Please keep pets off all furniture and be sure to be on a leash at all times when outside of the home. Also be sure to clean up after your pet and dispose of waste in the trash bins located outside of property. Please respect neighbors by limiting the barking of pets on the property; A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed at the property; the pet fee is $75/dog and an additional $75/dog will be added per week for extended reservations. All mention of pets denotes DOGS ONLY, no other pets are permitted. Any property damages caused by pets will be assessed and may be charged at the discretion of management.
This rental was the perfect base camp for our weekend in Duluth. The kitchen is well supplied and we were able to serve big meals on the expansive island. The deck overlooking the lake offered nearly constant entertainment as we watched ships come in, the bridge raise and lower, and the fisher people moving gear to and from the pier and shore.The bathroom offered plenty of towels and toiletries. The bedroom were comfortable with closets, seating, and comfortable beds and bedding.Modern Scandi decor throughout felt elevated and chic. We could have stayed longer.
Great location for walking to many of the attractions and the 3rd floor was great for the view of the lake and the ships coming in. Communication and check in/check out process was simple and clear. Happy with our first trip to Duluth and the kids loved it.
Me and my husband enjoyed our anniversary getaway. This is a very clean, beautiful place, in great walking distance to the bridge and other shops and restaurants! We enjoyed our stay!
We stayed April 7-10 and came up to hang out in Duluth and run up to see some waterfalls. Brand new, squeaky clean, this unit was a treat in all respects. We stayed in 715-3, the top (3rd) floor unit in the middle building and arguably the best relatively unobstructed view (by power lines and a power pole to the left). We could see the lift bridge immediately out our window to the left, the channel, the lake, the ore boats coming and going, the surfers, not to mention spectacular sunrises.The condo had everything you needed plus comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, blankets and throws, good water pressure and designated parking for guests. We are grateful that Heirloom has properties that welcome dogs because we travel with our big dog. We shared it with all of our friends and would definitely stay here again.That being said, the description does remind you that there is no elevator. We were on the 3rd floor, up 6 long flights of stairs (10 steps each). So dashing out for a quick doggie tinkle is not a thing unless you are on the first floor. Also schlepping luggage, coolers, the general contents of your car is a workout. Just so you know. There are plenty of places to walk and access to the lake for everyone and we noticed that people were really good about picking up after their pet. A person can walk over the bridge and into Canal Park it's that close.Loved it. 10/10 would stay again.
