Located right in the heart of Dunedin, less than a block from the Octagon, this superbly appointed landmark property has been lovingly refurbished throughout. Ideal for those seeking an inner-city pad close to all of Dunedinâs main attractions, this home caters for groups of up to 11 people and offers maximum flexibility with six beds available.
Whilst there is only one open-plan living space, further room to spread out and relax is available throughout the home, with lovely nooks provided in the larger bedrooms. The ground floor offers bedrooms that are well-appointed and tastefully decorated catering ideally to couples or families. A large heat pump ensures this area remains comfortably warm in the cooler months. This level also offers a bathroom with shower and toilet, plus access to a rear courtyard area.
Upstairs offers one additional bedroom , a modern laundry with washer and dryer and the second bathroom with shower and toilet. There is also a stunning living room, a new kitchen plus dining with outlook to St Paulâs Cathedral.
This is the ideal base for graduations, concerts, sporting fixtures and family gatherings.
Please note there is no off street parking at The Stuart Street Terraced Houses. Street parking is free from 6pm-9am Monday to Saturday and free all day Sunday. Outside of these hours a pay and display system is in place. The charge is $3.00 per hour.
Alternatively, you may choose to park in the Wilson`s Car Parking building, located behind the terraced house, a 2 minute walk around the corner on Moray place. You may also be able to make use of the 30 minute and five minute parking spaces outside the property while you unload passengers and your luggage, or make a quick stop at the home during the day.
The location was excellent, right in the city centre with easy access to the Octagon and Town Hall for graduation. Bedrooms were roomy, but living area and kitchen small. There were 5 of us, any more would be hard to seat in the living space. Only issue with the location was the noise and the lack of parking. Take ear plugs if you've got the road frontage bedroom. Pricey, but worth it if central access is important.
