Half an hour from Masterton, 45 min to Palmerston North, and Martingborough, on the way to Wellington and Napier. It is near Mark Dimock art gallery and workshop in Wairarapa. Any art displayed in this unit is for sale, just talk to the artist about anything you like.

After reading previous reviews, I have to agree on the issues of cleanliness and noise from adjacent building. The place was superficially clean, but as stated in previous review, the freezer is full of mould that has obviously been there for some time. Dishcloth quite old, stained and with holes. Amenities (kitchen ones) quite basic. The mouse from the owner’s residence was quite consistent, and I did not feel comfortable about the adjoining door. Wifi practically non existent On the plus side, It is a pleasant little house and could be really lovely with a little more care and attention. Mark was lovely

The property had a full kitchen, as well as laundry facilities which suited us as there were four of us staying 3 to 4 days. I loved the owners artwork on display in the property.

Appauling
Apart from the filth and used dirty sheets on bed, dirty cups in cupboard, crumbs on bench, floors, jam jars in fridge and coffee table, toothpaste spit in handbasin, and dust and animal hair on ledges. And then there was the mould in the freezer. She changed the sheets on request but not the pillow cases. The house occupants bang and clang till after 9.30 and again from around 6am. So it is certainly not quiet and peaceful. Appalling and disgusting really.
