The Crystal Lake Lodge is a real log cabin with all the modern amenities is perched above a small lake in the North Georgia Mountains that is fed by the Boardtown Creek. As you walk up the wide entry stairs to the deck your eyes will be drawn to the lake just out front. Walking past the handmade log outdoor swing you'll enter the cabin's open floor plan. With soaring vaulted ceilings and wide plank wood floors you'll feel right at home.

The living room is well appointed with comfortable furniture, a high end 65" 4k Smart TV as well as a real wood burning fireplace with complimentary firewood. Relax next to the sounds of the fire or play a game with the family. Opposite the living room you will find the well appointed kitchen and dining areas. Above the kitchen is a favorite spot for kids, a cozy sleeping loft accessed via a built in ladder.
The Master bedroom has a King Bed, Smart Tv with Roku and an EnSuite Bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bedroom and utilizes the shared 3/4 Bath just down the hall.
Right at 1000 Square Feet the cabin is spacious enough for a long stay, but cozy and comfortable. Sitting, swinging and sipping your favorite beverage on the front porch you are likely to see Geese, Ducks and other animals as they frequent the lake.
If you're lucky enough to be in the North Georgia mountains you are lucky enough, but sitting on the covered porch swing watching the birds and wildlife that frequent the lake makes this place so special! This cabin is central to so many Activities in the North Georgia Mountains, just 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge & Ellijay!

The cabin was very clean and in a great location. Nick went above and beyond, and had great communication. I was hoping to cook at the house for most of the trip and reached out before to see if there was a crockpot. He went ahead and purchased one, and had it available for our stay. We weren't expecting that!! We hope to return in the future.

Great getaway!

We wanted a nice place to stay that was away from the hustle and bustle but had nearby mountain biking, hiking, and dining. This place was perfect. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck at night and how easily we could drive to nearby attractions. The furnishings were very nice and comfortable. You get the sense the owners really take pride in this property. The communications were great, check in was easy....you will not regret staying here.

On Golden Pond

Loved our stay at Crystal Lake. There were a pair of geese and sometimes 2 pairs of geese on the lake at all times. They were fun to watch. We had dogs and the house is extremely pet friendly. Kitchen stocked with any utensils you need for your stay. Very comfortable beds and nice quiet road. Loved the porch swing and our son loved the hot tub.

Great Cabin

Such a beautiful cabin. My husband and I stayed with our 2 dogs for 5 nights. The cabin is beautifully decorated, clean, and offers beautiful scenery. The little touches to make it dog friendly were awesome. Gates to keep them in the porch, dog bed/blanket, water bowl. It was perfect. A little closer to the neighboring cabins than we might’ve preferred, but the neighbors were courteous and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

The cabin was peaceful and had everything we’d need for a couples getaway. The location is great, feels like you are really off the beaten path but not too far from both Ellijay and Blue Ridge. We really enjoyed our time.

Loft Bed

everything was great really great. It was clean, supplied, serene and beautiful. Bed number 5, the loft bed was actually inaccessible however. You had to climb a ladder to get to the bed that was higher than a bunkbed. It was higher than the regular size fridge. I am 73 and my family memebrs are 36 to 42 and we could not get up that high let alone the possibility of going to the bathroom in the mid night time. Could sleep on the couch however. We were a quiet very easy on the facilities type of group and we loved the serenity, the hot tub, and the porch swing. Beds were very comfy. Wasn't too keen on the deer head and the wild boar's head in the living room but I suppose that type of decore was to be rather expected. Overall, loved it!!!

Perfect quiet weekend away!

The location is perfect for a quiet trip away! We loved being able to bring our dog. The owner provided such detailed information leading up to check-in and for check-out. We loved the hot tub and the whole cabin was very cozy! Would stay here again. Easy access to highway for trip to downtown Ellijay, Blue Ridge, etc. An Ingles and Walmart within a 10-15 minute drive.

Enjoyed a relaxed couple of days in the mountains at this lovely cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Lots of little extra touches added to the charm. You will see what they are when you book this property. I have nothing negative to say about the property, however, if you are traveling to Elijah in early April, BRING YOUR ALLERGY MEDS! The pollen count was extremely high.

Beautiful view! Super clean and comfortable cabin. Movie snacks were provided which was a nice touch. Nice dog walk area close to the cabin. The property manager was super helpful with providing info as needed. Highly recommend staying here! :)

We just came for a short fall break getaway. We fished and end the hot tub. Nick was easy to work with and we enjoyed our time.

Great Cabin for our short getaway

Decided last minute to leave Nashville for two days and getaway. The owner made one small accommodation for us and we booked instantly. Cabin was clean, cozy, bed super soft, hot tub xtra clean, and location was 1/2 between the two cities we were interested in. Only thing my daughter said that would have made this place 6 stars is she wished for an outdoor fire pit. However we made the outdoor grill work for s’mores so she was happy! Next time we head that way we will definitely see if this cabin is available! Also the owner was kind and checked in with us after our 1st night 💗

What a great place!

The cabin had everything we could need
 including perfect little touches you don’t always find in cabin stays (you will have to book a trip to see what they are) The owners checked in via messenger and seemed easily accessible had anything come up, but our time was wonderful and we didn’t need a thing. Thank you again for sharing your piece of paradise with us :)

Cabin is a gem!

We enjoyed our stay. The property owner was extremely helpful and responded quickly I highly recommend this cabin for a stay in the Georgia mountains.

Nice and neat!

The cabin was very clean, great AC, comfortable beds and it had a very nice porch swing! Also, the hot tub was perfect and Nick even left snacks. Everybody enjoyed the popcorn. We would definitely go back.

Perfect!

The cabin was the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy nature. Very peaceful, enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the ducks! Surprised by the complimentary bucket of popcorn and snacks and laundry bag. Would stay again!
