Lovely Family Vacation

Very spacious and clean. Lots of seating which was great for a large group. Rooms were large to accommodate little children’s sleeping arrangements. Owners were prompt in communication with several issue we had. Beach was perfect distance away, even easy for the little kids.

Great place on Emerald Isle

We had a big crew - 14 total. Great property for a group. Bedroom layout upstairs is a little odd (designed for those with younger kids) but we made it work. Only one black from beach. Easy walk. Had a great stay.

Quick getaway

Our family took a quick getaway trip before our grandchildren had to begin summer internships. We had a great time! Unfortunately, we had rain two days which curtailed some of our plans, but we tried to make the most of our time together! A lovely cottage in a great location near both the Bogue Sound and the beach.

Relaxing and fun!

The space is more than enough for a large group. The elevator made getting all the luggage to our rooms and kitchen a breeze. The game room was a huge hit for the kids and adults. It is a very short walk to the beach and short drive to shops,dinning and the grocery store. Wr would definitely stay again.

Great location!

We loved our stay in George and Maria’s home. Great location in a quieter section of EI with beautiful views of both ocean and sound and easy, one block walk to beach. The elevator was especially helpful during check-in/check-out and with an elderly family member. The three decks were great for reading, conversation, or watching the sunrise/sunset!

Wonderful Family Vacation

Our family enjoyed a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful and very spacious home. Everyone had enough room to spread out for privacy. The common areas allowed us to come together for meals in the kitchen and at the dining room table. The spacious living room was another positive. The home has beautiful views of both the sound and the ocean.

Restful Beach Stay

My family and I had a fantastic time staying in this house. There was room for everyone to relax, reconnect, and have fun. Having easy access to both the beach and the sound was a plus. The kids enjoyed fishing in the sound, and everyone loved spending time at the beach. The beach available beach cart made it easy to bring all the necessary kid and baby beach stuff. Perfect location right between the sound and ocean.

Beautiful, spacious home! We enjoyed the view of ocean and sound and the close proximity to both. The elevator made it easy to load heavy items. The teens in the group enjoyed the playroom and having a bunk room right off it with a couch and tv. We were all able to spread out comfortably. The sunsets on the sound side dock were spectacular! Best of the Beach

This property is exactly as described and then some! With more than enough room for our group and the ability to access BOTH the sound and the beach by foot with ease, we were able to completely relax and enjoy our family vacation 100%. Our teens were happy with hundreds of fish caught & never got bored in the house either. The lower level provided so much to keep everyone entertained at night and in between beach visits. It’s clear the owners went above and beyond to provide a home anyone would want to enjoy again and again! Owners were very easy to work with and available for any questions. We hope to be back soon!
