Wesâs Landing was perfect for our Door County get away! The house is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and the owners did a wonderful job supplying everything we needed (and more) for our trip. Wesâs Landing is located in a cute, quiet neighborhood right around the corner from several restaurants, within walking distance to a park for younger children to play, and right down the street from boat/kayak rentals and the water. All of the extra touches - from supplying firewood for the fire pit in the backyard to the Door County scavenger hunt for the kids - were much appreciated! Our kids also loved the well-stocked game cabinet and poker table to play at. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home - we will definitely be back!
This is a quiet, cozy cottage about a block away from the water. We used the front porch quite a bit, to enjoy the beautiful weather. The front/main living space is comfortable and it's helpful that there is a 2nd living space that one of us used for doing some work. Didn't use the TV, so can't speak for that.
Both beds were very comfortable. Be aware that the two rooms share a wall and there is only one bathroom, which is right off the kitchen. This is not atypical for an old house, but privacy is not in abundance.
