Michelle is a great hostess! She is easy to communicate with about her cabin. My husband and I stayed last year at the cabin on our way to South Carolina, and we stayed again this year; plus, we were fortunate enough to stay both on our way down to South Carolina and on our way home. The cabin itself is a perfect stop after hours on the road. Michelle has thought of everything! Moreover, the birding from the front porch is a perfect way to unwind!

We had a great stay! This is such a warm and welcoming place. Great communication from/with the host. This has everything you should need for your stay (stocked kitchen, lots of towels, sheets, blanks, basic toiletries). I loved the coffee and tea options. Clean and comfortable. We cannot wait to stay again. Close to 77, gas, and a decent food option.

This is our third stay and we will be back again. The cabin is so cozy. We walked in and the fire place was going and little xmas trees on both sides. Kitchen has lots of extras pots and pans, and spices. Also, flavors to add to coffee. Cabin is very clean and neat. Watch your head with the spiraling stair case going upstairs. Home owner is wonderful and easy to work with .

The cabin was very nice and cozy. The only thing you have to bring is your clothes and personal items. Everything else was furnished. The host was prompt in answering our questions The only suggestion would be is the location of the cabin. As soon as you turn onto Joy Ranch Rd., it's the 1st lot to the right on the corner.

This was our second stay here and again it was fabulous. The kitchen is fully equipped and even has different flavoring for coffee. Bed is comfortable and everything was very clean. It was just what we needed for a weekend getaway to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary!

The cabin is very clean and cozy. Great little porch to have evening wine or morning coffee on. Nice little fire pit to relax around in the evening. The cabin is fully stocked and the owner Michelle lives right nearby and made sure we had everything we needed. She even came down and set up the logs in the fire pit. Highly recommend this charming cabin. Fancy Gap has no real grocery store but there is a Food Lion about 11 miles away that has everything.

The property was even better than advertised. It had the feel of home: well appointed, warm and inviting. We were greeted every morning by a hummingbird, as we enjoyed coffee on the large front porch and in the late afternoon saw deer in the yard. Its proximity to the Blue Ridge Music offered opportunity to hear local artists perform traditional bluegrass and country music. Our time in the Rustic Cabin was one of the most relaxing and peaceful weeks we have enjoyed in years. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
