Elegant and comfortable apartment close to the city centre just outside the ztl area, therefore, hassle free if you have a car. We are at a 15 minute walking distance from city centre and 25 minutes walking distance from Duomo, Uffizzi Gallery, Piazza Signoria, Statue of David, Ponte Vecchio and great shopping too. You can take the tram if you prefer which takes only 3 minutes! It is a pleasant walk with pastry shops and cafes along the way. The apartment is spacious, airy and bright. There is a baker, butcher, laundromat, wine-shop, grocery store close by. Very convenient and ideal location far from the noise but at walking distance from all attractions. The beautiful Villa Fabbricotti, Stibbert Park and Museum is right behind us and at walking distance to Giardino del'Orticoltura with its beautiful conservatory.
Our apartment has been recently refurbished. We used high quality fixtures through out. It is elegant and comfortable with up-to-date amenities. Brand new designer bathrooms with new fixtures. The spacious double living room has a large sofa bed and can be closed with sliding doors. This offers complete privacy and is used as the 3rd bedroom. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom. The other bathroom is in the hallway.
The apartment has 2 balconies and has a spacious feeling. Unlimited wifi access, air conditioning and linen are all included. There are NO hidden costs. It is on the second floor WITH elevator. The size is 115 square meters. PLEASE NOTE: THE SINGLE PULLOUT BED THAT GOES IN THE BEDROOM IS UPON REQUEST. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU NEED IT.

Séjour mitigé

L appartement est trĂšs beau, trĂšs fonctionnel et plutĂŽt bien placĂ© dans Florence (20 minutes Ă  pied de la cathĂ©drale). Il est trĂšs agrĂ©able Ă  vivre et trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©. De plus il y’a un parking gratuit pas loin du logement ce qui est trĂšs apprĂ©ciable Ă  Florence! Cependant nous avons Ă©tĂ© embĂȘtĂ©s par les insectes durant notre sĂ©jour. Nous avons vu plusieurs cafards dans l appartement et lorsque nous avons dĂ©faits nos lits nous avons trouvĂ© des larves d insectes sur un matelas (cela ressemblait Ă  des larves de poissons d argent) Rita nous a fourni des produits pour lutter contre les cafards et a fait venir la femme de mĂ©nage pour qu elle re-nettoie l appartement dĂšs que nous lui avons dit qu il y avait des cafards mais ça n a pas suffit pour les faire disparaĂźtre. En dehors de ces mĂ©saventures l appartement est vraiment trĂšs bien et conforme Ă  la description de l annonce.

L'appartement est trÚs vaste ( nous étions 5 ), décoré avec gout, trÚs fonctionnel, bien climatisé ...Rita et Richard sont charmants et n'hésitent pas à nous donner des conseils, des bonnes adresses, les lieux ou réserver ..., et Florence est une ville magnifique et un bon point d'attache pour visiter les autres villes de Toscane ( Sienne, san gimignano...). Il faut compter 15 à 20 minutes de marche pour rejoindre l'hypercentre ( le dome ), ce qui est largement faisable ... En conclusion, je vous recommande vivement cet appartement !! Famille ROGER

This home was everything that we needed for Florence! Charming, updated, and clean. The neighborhood felt safe and was walkable. It is not in the city center, which we liked. Tram, grocery, restaurants were nearby. We used the tram or we walked to the areas we wanted to see.

This was an AWESOME property. We were there for 10 days celebrating our 31 year anniversary with our best friends. It was just as listed. It was beautiful, comfortable, homey and a great size for 2 couples. I love that it had a king size bed in both bedrooms. The 2nd living space that could be closed off made the perfect place to do my yoga early in the morning without disturbing everyone else. The neighborhood was safe and close to everything we needed like the tram, grocery store. There was a bakery right across the street. Richard was there to greet us and make sure we knew everything we needed to know. And Rita was very accessible if we had any questions while we were there. And we took advantage of the chef services and Marina cooked us a delicious 4 course meal and even taught us how to make homemade pasta, so I highly recommend taking of this service. She was so plesant and knowledgeable too. If you decide to rent this place you will not be disappointed.

Very clean property spacious and comfortable perfect for our large group. Close by to a grocery store and corner market where you can get drinks, coffee, and snacks. Nice Apartment

This was a nice apartment for our stay in Florence. Rita and Richard were both excellent at staying in touch and ensuring we had everything we needed. The apartment was spacious although the bathrooms were quite small, especially the master bath. The neighborhood was quiet with a few essentials close by including a grocery, bar, pastries, etc. There were not many other restaurants without walking 10 minutes or so. Richard was exceptionally helpful with arranging for taxis each day. He also had a couple of excellent restaurant suggestions which we used and greatly enjoyed. Although the neighborhood seemed quiet and safe, my husband especially appreciated the robust locks on the apartment door.

Live like an Italian

Our objective on this vacation was to stay 2 1/2 weeks and live like the Italians and we certainly achieved that in this apartment. The apartment was very large and comfortable and roomy. The hostess was super great at communications and meeting all our needs. Her apartment manager Richard was also very attentive to our needs and answered any questions we had. The kitchen has a good set up with everything needed and the washer came in handy. There is a nice market near the apartment and a bakery, takeout deli, coffee shop, gelato shop, and it is located near the tram stop. There is also a little farmers market Monday through Saturday downstairs. You can easily walk to the historic area in 25 minutes or so. This is an older apartment and the appliances require the instructions which are in the apartment. When we arrived, we were outside the building and couldn’t figure out how to communicate with the manager inside the apartment because we got the email late, so it would be helpful to know what doorbell to ring outside the building and get the check-in email sooner. There are two good parks nearby but not many restaurants in the area. The apartment has great Wi-Fi and we enjoyed the balconies. The apartment can probably sleep seven people with a pullout sofa. The hostess was so great to us that we would consider staying here again. We had a great time in the apartment and all our needs were met and it exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Rita and Richard for a wonderful stay!

Location was perfect. Place was well decorated. Tram station was just a short walk away. Bar/coffee and Pastries was a 10 yard walk from the front door. Grocery store was 100 yards around the corner fro the place. Easy 20 minute walk to downtown if you don't want to take the tram.

Ein großartiger Workation-Aufenthalt

Wir hatten einen ganz wunderbaren vierwöchigen Workation-Aufenthalt in Ritas Wohnung: Sie ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin, die immer fĂŒr uns erreichbar war. Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet und die Lage sehr zentral (gute Trambahn-Anbindung und auch zu Fuß ist man schnell im Zentrum). Der Supermarkt um die Ecke ist sehr praktisch und es gibt einige gute Lokale (Pantarei ist sehr empfehlenswert) in der Nachbarschaft. Schön sind natĂŒrlich die beiden Balkone in der Wohnung, die gemĂŒtlichen Wohnzimmer und zwei neu ausgestattete BĂ€der. Alles ist stilvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet (inklusive Klimananlage und Fliegengitter an allen Fenstern) und sehr sauber. Das WLAN ist perfekt zum Arbeiten und es sind zwei Schreibtische vorhanden. Kurz: Wer Florenz unbeschwert in den „eigenen vier WĂ€nden“ genießen möchte, ist bei Rita goldrichtig! Danke fĂŒr die schöne Zeit!

Wonderful apartment minutes from Florence city-centre

Rita was a wonderful host so responsive & accomodating. The apartment was very clean and comfortable & just a 10 minute walk & 10 minute tram ride to the city centre of Florence. We loved that it was away from the hustle & bustle of downtown & felt very safe. A little fruit , veggie & clothing market is held daily nearby & grocery store around the corner. The beds are super comfortable. A fantastic choice if visiting Florence. My sister & I loved this place.

Beautiful apartment close to Florence city center

This apartment is beautiful and spacious. My husband and I spent a month here. Our son, daughter in-law and 2 year old granddaughter joined us for a couple of weeks and the apartment was big enough to allow us all to have our own space. It is a pleasant 10 min walk to the tram and the tram arrives frequently. Overall time to Florence train station is about 20 minutes. This property is perfect if you want to be close to the city but in a quiet neighborhood. Rita and Richard were amazing. Very quick to answer questions and made excellent suggestions for restaurants and day trips. There is a nice park a few minutes from the apartment, which my granddaughter loved. A perfect place to stay while you are in Florence.

A beautiful stay in Florence

We were so excited to find this location in Florence. The property is outstanding. It's in a nice quiet area with a grocery store less than 1 minute from leaving the apartment. Easy access to transit but honestly only 20 minutes walking and you're downtown. Both Rita and Richard were quick to respond to any questions that we had and their recommendations for restaurants did not disappoint. We know where will be staying when we return to Florence. Grazie for a beautiful stay.

Florence Stay

We loved the apartment. It was spacious, comfortable, beautiful- we cooked in, and went out, and had a very nice time. We did not meet Rita, our hostess, but she was easy to get in touch with and she reached out to make sure we found the apartment and had everything we needed. It was very easy to get there via tram and a bit of walking from Santa Maria Novella train station. Richard met us and competently oriented us to everything from the locks to the appliances, to the local pizzeria, market, corner bar, and supermarket (around the corner- super convenient) and we had interesting conversation with him as well. We had a wonderful long weekend. Thank you!

Lovely apartment in easy walk to downtown Florence

Our flight was delayed and Rita's friend Richard patiently waited for us to arrive and checked us in. He told us everything we needed to know about the apartment and even directed us to a local pizza place that could give us a late takeout. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable with a nice dining table for 4 and two small balconies that each seat two, a living area, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms with good showers. The apartment was a comfortable 20 minute walk to the train station or the middle of Florence for me and my 15 year old son but the same walk home was a little long for my 75 year old mother at the end of the day. Kitchen was well equipped and there is a grocery market 1 block away for everything we needed for meals. Rita was very attentive and checked in periodically to make sure we were doing ok. I can absolutely give this apartment a positive recommendation.
