Our stay at the Aiken Manor B&B was idyllic! The home was clean, comfortable and cozy. Our host, Yvonne, greeted us at the door and made us feel like welcome guests. She explained everything we needed to know about our accommodations. She asked what time we would like breakfast served and what time before that we would like coffee delivered to our door! The breakfast menu was varied and everything cooked to order- delicious homemade omelets, pancakes, baked goods and more. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Aiken Manor is the perfect stay at a beautiful NH lake off the beaten track. You have the lake right in front of you where you can swim, kajak, canoe or simply relax. The beautiful Northern Rail bike trail is right behind the property for easy access. A highlight is the breakfast. Yvonne, the owner and an incredible host, cooks up a delicious breakfast each day. There's also a porch that invites you to stay and read a book and a patio with a firepit It's a place you don't want to leave.

A Perfect 3-Day Escape at Aiken Manor

Aiken Manor's proprietor, Yvonne, was a fabulous hostess—warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay memorable. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. We took full advantage of the kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, and loved relaxing around the property. Each morning began with an excellent breakfast, just as other reviews had promised—fresh, delicious, and a great start to the day. We also biked the Northern Rail Trail which is directly behind Aiken Manor. In just three days, we packed in a week's worth of fun. The combination of outdoor activities, cozy accommodations, and Yvonne’s hospitality made this a standout getaway.

Fabulous place and the host, Yvonne, was amazing. She left a tray with cups and a thermos of coffee outside of our room every morning at 5 AM when she found out my husband gets up really early. And the breakfast menu (and food) was amazing! Lovely porch and lakeside location.

We loved everything about our stay there! The hostess custom makes your breakfast with lots of savory options! We enjoyed learning about the long history of the property, enjoyed the rail to trail that goes behind the property, and the peaceful lake views. We didn't do any Kayaking though the equipment was there and free to use. We had what amounted to a 3 room suite with near private parking and a private entrance (The Library Suite). It was nice to be able to set up my photographic processing computer setup in the 'middle' room of our 3 rooms which also had great WiFi.

You won't be disappointed!!!

Amazing rare find close enough to the Bank of America pavillion to give exceptional accommodations and not break the bank. Lots to do during the day from hiking to water play. Super comfortable bed and huge bathroom. However the star of the show is Yvonne's breakfast. Home baked breads and cooked to order eggs, pancakes and french toast. The meals make the stay seem half price because of the price you would have to pay if you went out to eat. Stay here, it is incredible!!

Wonderful weekend

Our stay was amazing. It was the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. The bed was so comfortable and spacious. The hospitality shown was exceptional. There are unlimited options at breakfast-which can be customized and so delicious. The location is great and tons of things to do in any season. My husband and I have stayed at many great B &B 's, the highlight of this one is the cleanliness of it. IMMACULATE!! We couldnt even find dust on the heater behind a table. Yvonne was wonderful and friendly, She gave us great ideas to check out on our next trip down. We will be back for sure!
