The area
The apartment is set in the tranquil village of Lajares.
The apartment has lush green volcanic gardens with views over open fields and extinct volcanoes.

Lajares is a multi cultural village set in the north of the island of Fuerteventura set midway between the main tourist resort of Corralejo, the quieter Canarian village of El Cotillo and the very small hamlet of Majanicho.

Golden, sandy beaches and lagoons 10 minutes away by car.

The apartment was a great base for travelling around the island. It was spacious and had all the kitchen utensils you could need! The pool was amazing. The owners are lovely and approachable. Just a note that there isn’t much shade around the pool during the day so it can get a bit hot.

Walking distance of a great lad back town

We loved lajares and the fact that we could walk into town from the property. Lots of restaurant choices, great coffee stops and just 10 minutes to amazing beaches. A great base for enjoying fuerteventura.

Absolutely Loved It!!

Secluded location which gave us the privacy, peace and quiet that we were looking for. On the outskirts of the town but conveniently located for shops and bars. The accommodation was very clean and nothing was overlooked, the pool was the jewel in the crown, well maintained, clean and warm. We can’t wait to return.

Nice cozy villa

Me and my wife had a very pleasant stay in Lajares. The villa is small, but with all you need. The pool and the house is lovely. The owners, Martin and Sue are around if you need them. We can highly recommend this villa for a nice holiday.

Lovely apartment with pool

Very clean, quiet apartment, great size for a couple. Very well equipped, large pool and nice gardens. On the edge of Lajares but within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants, great walk up volcano just up from apartment. Owners not there when we stayed, but good communications.

Perfect stay

We spent a perfect week in Martin's apartment and we had an amazing time. Martin wasn't there but he promptly solved the unique little issue we had during our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Special mention to the pool and garden. The village, Lajares, is perfectly located.

Wonderful Stay

Just returned from a wonderful week at Martin & Sue's apartment in Lajares. The apartment is exactly as described - clean, comfortable, well-maintained with all the necessary mod-cons and indeed anything else you could possibly want for a great holiday. They’re very considerate hosts and have really thought of it all. We especially loved the wonderful heated pool (& the beautiful gardens) and spent lots of time there just soaking up the glorious sunshine. Lajares is a great spot too - very chilled with lovely restaurants, shops, supermarket, bakeries, etc. All-in-all it’s just the most perfect spot for R&R and we’ll most certainly return.

Excellent accommodation

Absolutely no issues experienced. I enjoyed my time in Lajares, it was just what I needed. I mixed my time with poolside days and out and about days. This is a good location away from the hustle and bustle of Corralejo but close enough (by car) to provide everything needed. Special thanks to Martin for guiding me in after my flight was delayed which meant driving from the airport after dark - the street turning was easily missed.

Clean , comfortable and convenient

The apartment is conveniently located in Lajares which is halfway between Correjco and El Cotillo. A car is a necessity rather than a luxury as Lajares itself has basic shops and restaurants. If you wish to explore the Island further either to climb vocanos or find some stunning beaches you are perfectly situated here . The apartment is very clean and has everything you could wish for to make it feel a home from home. The pool is very warm and the hosts Martin and Sue are very helpful and pleasant. The apartment really is a little gem. We really enjoyed our stay here and would return in a flash.
