Bear's Wilderness Lodge is a spacious 5BR/5BA cabin sleeping 16, thoughtfully designed for multigenerational family trips where everyone wants to be together — without feeling crowded. Located 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and approximately 15-20 minutes to Dollywood, the cabin sits in the Arts & Crafts District, offering convenient access that helps avoid much of Gatlinburg Parkway traffic.

With 3 en-suite king bedrooms, 2 additional kings with full baths nearby, and five full bathrooms, grandparents, parents, and kids each have their own comfortable space. The home features an updated kitchen and baths, a game room with theater seating, arcade, and 7 Roku TVs, making it easy to relax together after a day exploring the Smokies.

Outdoor living includes a 6-person hot tub (18+ only) and two private decks with a peaceful wooded setting. Family-friendly amenities include a crib, kid-friendly dishes, a BBQ grill, and city water (no sulfur smell). Pet-friendly for families traveling with dogs.

Extended family getaway

Great property for multiple households, with multi-levels of bedrooms/bathrooms to accommodate those on different sleeping schedules. Gameroom level was a hit, as were the outdoor decks, for additional room and activities while at the cabin. Perfect location to either drive or grab a trolley into Gatlinburg, and to drive to Pigeon Forge. Hosts were incredibly responsive to any questions and overall communication was excellent.

Clean cabin close to town!

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. The weather didn’t cooperate to be outside much but, there was so much to do in the cabin we didn’t mind the down time! One small issue during our stay but the owner was very quick to respond! We would definitely stay here again!

Christmas in January

The property is very beautiful and well kept. Our visit was our Christmas present to our adult children. A getaway so we could all enjoy some time together as a family for a few days in a row that we do not otherwise have when we are at home. My only wish would have been to have a little bit bigger kitchen, dining and sitting area on main floor to gather. Otherwise each bedroom had an en-suite or was right across from the bedroom. The rooms were comfort and spacious. Any questions I had were but a text away and Amanda was awesome. We also had a White Christmas-it was simply breathtaking! Thank you!

Wonder Family vacation

The cabin was very clean and decorated upon arrival. We did have uninvited guest that invaded a car. Be sure to lock your doors. The only problem was the parking on a very steep hill. But, you are on a mountain! Location is perfect for whatever you are interested in doing in the area. Check in and check out was very easy. We hope to visit again soon.

Great weekend getaway spot

The place was as advertised. It’s just far enough away from Gatlinburg, but not too far. Easy ride into town. Great food options on the way to town so you don’t have to always go into the really busy downtown district if you don’t want. The place itself was nestled in with about 20 other cabins. Five king beds with baths was really nice. The basement area was great for family play. Easily handled our ten person party, though it’s a tad smaller than the pictures show. Clean and well kept.

My families stay was great. Amanda was a great host and was very accommodating. She always answered back quickly. The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. It was also close to the main strip in Gatlinburg, which was good. All in all we had a great family trip.

40th Anniversary Trip

Our cabin was wonderful! It was clean. Everyone had great beds! The grandsons enjoyed the downstairs game room and the occasional bear sightings. We kept our distance and got pictures. The adults enjoyed card games at the dinning room table with delicious meals by my daughter-in-love. Amber, our host was in touch and available to meet any need we had. The cabin was fantastic!
