Beautiful cabin only 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg! Walk into this beautiful one level log cabin nestled in the woods, with cathedral ceilings, open living & dining room. Walk out to a spacious deck surrounded by nature and flowers. Relax in the rocking chair while taking in the crisp mountain air. Featuring one large master suite with king bed and master bath with shower. Second bedroom across the hall has a queen bed with bathroom and stand up shower also. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker. Toaster, coffee pot and can opener with small blender. Towels and linens furnished . The sofa makes a bed to accommodate another adult or a couple kids. Utility room with washer and dryer for your convenience.

Our family had a wonderful stay at The Moody Fox over Easter weekend. We traveled from Southold, New York with my husband, our two sons—one currently attending UTK and one who will be starting there next fall—and our dog, and this cabin was the perfect place for us to spend time together. The natural setting was beautiful, and we really appreciated the privacy, comfort, and peaceful atmosphere.Everything was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared for our arrival. The location was ideal, close enough to downtown Gatlinburg while still quiet and relaxing. Our host was kind, responsive, and accommodating throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

The host is friendly and easily accessible. The only reason it was rated a 4 was due to some internet connection issues we were having. It’s important to note the host was responsive to this issue and tried assisting as best as he could. We are returning customers & will likely return again sometime in the future!

This was a great find
The Moody Fox. It was very clean, especially for being dog friendly. Price point was excellent. We even saw a bear off the back deck. We were very happy with this cabin in the woods.

On the good side, the Moody Fox allowed us to bring our dogs. However, on the slowest month of the year in Gatlinburg we paid a premium price for a rental that was not real clean, had things broken and not repaired, and was just not quality for the price. Also, leave your guests some instructions, like any special requirements at check out, how do you operate the TVs, etc. Awful, no, but not a rental we will come back to again.

Cabin was very clean, it was nice, and we enjoyed our stay. Scott was a fantastic host and we loved that we could bring our pets with no extra charges or annoyances. Also, we were able to check out and he even told us we didn’t really have to do anything before checkout! That is unheard of! It was also so nice to not have a page or two of requirements to check out.

Scott was amazing. He answered all my questions & concerns within hours before we arrived. . While we were there, our automatic door lock was working slow due to the battery. He drove 2 1/2 hrs to come and replace it. Very niceFamily owned cabin.

This property is in a great location to both downtown Gatlinburg and easy access to Pigeon Forge. The cabin was exceptionally clean and ready for occupancy on time. The cabin was very cozy and decorated for its name “Moody Fox.” Scott was very nice and helpful with all our needs. I would highly recommend this cabin for a small group. We had an awesome holiday time.

The cabin was perfect! Secluded but close to the bustling downtown area. Clean is an understatement it was spotless! The decor was so inviting with sweet touches of foxes. The long back porch is the ideal spot for a quiet morning coffee. We will be booking The Moody Fox for all our future visits to the area.

This owner needs to visit his property and update and clean..we couldn't really relax because everything was so horrible...from bulbs needing replaced to stinkbugs in the coffeepot to hairs in the sink, bedspread and skirt needed to be washed..you know this had no personal touch AT ALL that provided any kind of welcome... we'd never return visit or recommend to anyone and isn't that what VRBO renting is all about?
