This hotel is located in a quiet area of the city, a nice shady park across the street, and only a few blocks away from many restaurants of all kinds, and about 8 blocks away from the city's historic center area.

Great location - close to all the major tourist attractions and also close to a grocery store and laundromat. The rooms are comfortable and there’s a lovely courtyard for sitting outside to have a quiet glass of wine or coffee. Love the outdoor space. The staff are very friendly and efficient, and the breakfast is amazing. Loved staying here I highly recommend it!

Delighted with our stay

We enjoyed our visit to the Parkhotel. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was great and our room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is in an ideal location as it is on the direct route from the train station (bus 78) and walking distance to the central hub of Ghent. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was fine except that there was no on-site parking even though the listing on Hotels.com said there was on-site parking available for 19 euros a day which was one of the main reasons I booked here. We had to park several blocks away and it was about 10 minutes walk dragging and carrying our luggage.

A good, medium-sized hotel with helpful staff, spacious and clean bedroom and bathroom, good continental breakfast, quiet area on the edge of town with good transport tram links to the centre, though slightly off the beaten track for travel from railway station.

No reception, no parking, pricey, nice breakfast

I don't know what was worst if the fact that doesn't have reception and the door closed at 10 pm and the code to open it didn't work and I had to stay half an hour looking for another hotel. The mosquito that woke me up at 5 am or the shower that turned cold after a minute. Or that PARKHOTEL doesn't have parking at all, and the advertisement says "parking available." The breakfast was awesome and the location is in fine for walking around, restaurants, and shopping.
