The perfect romantic getaway nestled in a valley of sweeping hills, this beautiful bluestone cottage demands relaxation. Beautiful furnishings in living space with working open fireplace, modern bathroom with shower, kitchen including kettle, toaster, stove and electric hotplates.
Myself and my team are based at our reception & store FlopHouse at 64 Piper Street, Kyneton.
Lovely cottage in a rural setting made for a relaxing long weekend away. breakfast provisions provided were yum and kitchen was well set up. It was too warm to light the fire, but it would be a great stay in the cooler months with both an open fire and outdoor fire pit/bbq. Overall, a lovely stay and would visit again.
Ideal location but no gravel on driveway makes access hard
A stunning location and we had a great time for the first couple of days but rain for the last two and little or no gravel on the visitor driveway meant that we struggled to get out of a muddy driveway in our 2 wheel drive car.
There is no one on the property and no mobile coverage so it is all the more important to have this rectified. We had to park in the other driveway which made our trips to and from the car long, messy and muddy. This is not good enough given how much this place charges. They need to do better and simply put gravel in the whole of the driveway.
Great little spot only 15 minutes out of Kyneton but close to neighbouring wineries. The cottage is toasty warm with a big, open fire in the living area. Heaps of kitchen utensils and lots of natural light!
