Self catering Mas Merolla for 10 people

The house is an old Catalan farmhouse, which was finished in the year 2005. The restoration work has been carried out using traditional materials from the surrounding area. Throughout this time, we have preserved all the characteristic features of rural Catalan architecture.

The result of this restoration is a delightful and peaceful rural house, where one can enjoy nature in an unbeatable setting, with all the comforts we are used to, heating in all the rooms, hot water, double glazing, dishwashers, television, and garden areas with a barbecue, sheltered parking facilities, a public swimming pool only five minutes away, etc.

Maravillosa casa de montaña!
Mas Merolla es un sitio maravilloso ... una casa, entre montañas, impone con sus vistas y tranquilidad ... llegar a Mas Merolla, es sentir una calma immediate, el aire limpio y el paisaje, desde que sale el sol hasta que se pone no se puded dejar de admirar ... disfrutamos mucho de la casa y todos sus detalles, desde la piscina maravillosa, hasta la babacoa con vistas infinitas, y los paseos interminables en muchas direcciones ... Muchas gracias Josep, por tu hospitalidad ... nos sentimos como en casa ... y reconocimos que Mas Merolla es un sitio muy especial en los pirineos ... nos enconato tambien conocer los pueblos de los alrededores, y descubrir la magia y el encanto de esta region tan generosa con sus paisajes, gentes, lugates y rincones! Mil gracias por la oportunidad!

Traumhafte Lage, fantastischer Pool, Haus selber so lala
Also zunächst mal die positiven Dinge: Die Lage ist absolut einzigartig, der Ausblick aus jedem Winkel traumhaft, der Pool genial und schön warm, es ist absolut ruhig und still, der Kontakt zum Vermieter sehr unkompliziert. Aber es gibt leider auch ein paar Kritikpunkte: Wer wirklich Privatsphäre sucht, der ist hier falsch. Es arbeitet kontinuierlich jemand im Garten (jeden Tag), teilweise taucht auch jemand von der Familie auf, die partiell das mittlere Stockwerk bewohnt. Man ist daher leider selten absolut ungestört und fühlt sich fast beobachtet. Mal abgesehen davon dass das ganze Haus Videoüberwachung hat. Der zweite Kritikpunkt betrifft die Aufteilung. Man mietet hier kein Haus sondern einen Teil des Hauses. Das oberste Stockwerk ist die eigentliche Ferienwohnung, dort sind die Schlafzimmer, Badezimmer und Küche. Nur: von dort hat man keinen Zugang zur Terrasse, da das Geschoss zwischen der Ferienwohnung und der sehr schönen Terasse ja von den Vermietern belegt ist.Man muss die Wohnung verlassen, einmal um das Haus rum gehen, im 1. Stock wieder rein und dann ist man auf der wunderschönen Terrasse. Will man also mal draußen essen, so muss man das Geschirr etc alles einmal außen rum tragen. Und spontan mal in der Früh einen Kaffee auf der Terrasse trinkt man auch nicht. Sehr kompliziert und vor allem wird das aus dem Inserat nicht klar. Die Einrichtung der Ferienwohnung ist zweckmäßig, etwas abgewohnt.

Einfach wundervoll!
Wir haben10 unvergessliche Tage in diesem Haus verbracht. Es war traumhaft! Die Lage und das Panorama sind einzigartig. Im Haus findet man alles, was man braucht. Der Garten und die Terrasse sind sehr groß. Angenehm war, dass die Terrasse dauerhaft im Schatten ist, so dass man es dort trotz der Hitze gut aushalten konnte. Der Pool ist natürlich ein Highlight - nicht nur für Kinder. Josep, der Besitzer, sowie Alona und Esteban, die sich liebevoll um das Haus und den Garten kümmern, sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, zugleich aber auch diskret. Wir empfehlen das Haus zu 100 % weiter. Sicherlich kommen wir noch einmal nach Mas Merolla!

Sólo tengo palabras positivas de nuestra estancia en Can Merolla. Un buen recibimiento el primer día con predisposición a ayudar en lo necesario y seguimiento durante toda la estància por parte del propietario. La casa muy bonita, con todas las comodidades en un paraje inmemorable. La piscina ideal para adultos y niños, integrada al paisatge y estilo de la masia. De medidas adecuadas para nadar, al ser climatizada hemos disfrutado de ella en todo momento Aunque el tiempo exterior no fuera el mas adecuado. Hemos disfrutado de las barbacoes, de las excursiones por el entorno de la casa y las població es cerca as que tienen mucho por ofrecer. Recomendable para familias. Seguro que repetiremos.

Todo perfecto
La ubicación es excelente, con unas vistas magníficas. La casa es muy bonita, con un equilibrio perfecto entre rústico y práctico. La piscina está muy bien climatizada, apeteciendo bañarse incluso en días más frescos. Hay dos barbacoas, una interior y otra exterior. También hay varios animales por la zona: caballos, vacas, ciervos, perros… Todo perfecto!

Ideal para desconectarse.
Hemos pasado unos días de descanso y desconexión inolvidables. La casa es ideal, los paisajes, la piscina climatizada, el espacio que tiene la finca es impresionante, todo super bien cuidado. Stunning - even better than the pictures
Superb place with a stunning view. No photo comes close to matching the real thing. Immaculately clean with much attention to detail. We stayed as two families and found everything we needed. Loved especially the heated pool and the outdoor barbecue. Wish we had planned and had more time to enjoy and explore the house and its surroundings. The host was very helpful, accomodating, and flexible.

Mucho mas bonito que en las fotos
Las fotos no dan una completa idea de lo bonita que es la casa y el area que la rodea, Esta en medio de las montanas, completamente aislada de otras casas. La tranquilidad es absoluta. El espacio que se alquila esta en una planta superior, totalmente equipada (incluso con dos hornos y dos cocinas) muy cómoda y con una agradable vista En la planta inferior hay un area común con una barbacoa interior y una terraza abierta. En el mismo nivel de esta terraza hay una barbacoa externa con jardín. Todos los días salimos temprano con nuestro perro a explorar ya que el area que corresponden al terreno de la casa rural es inmensa, hay incluso rutas que se pueden hacer. No logramos ver los siervos (supongo que por que olían a mi perro) pero si las vacas y los caballos. Es un lugar perfecto para recargar energía. Adria es super amable y os puede dar tips que se ajusten a lo que quieras hacer. Super recomendado para aquellos que les guste la tranquilidad y la naturaleza.
