Cozy Cottage Goodland Fl.

When staying with us, you can enjoy so much without the crowds. Fishing, Biking, Kayaking, hiking the Everglades, can all be enjoyed with just your travel companion. No hustle and bustle here, just a serene, private, personal space. Grocery stores are minutes away, and provide plenty of fresh food to prepare in the full kitchen in our cottage.

. Our spot on the island gives you the feeling of solitude. Please note, we are NOT on Marco Island. We are located in Goodland Fl, 5 miles from Marco Island City.
There are no elevators to share, no one to share an entryway with. You have a complete private space, and this particular cottage, IS NOT a shared home. We take extreme pride in providing a safe, and clean environment for all of our guests.

Located in a sleepy historic fishing village, of Goodland. Enjoy the sunrise over the Everglades with your morning cup of coffee, and the magical colors of the evening sky.
We have ample parking for your vehicle and boat trailer if you wish to bring your own, and utilize the local Goodland boat ramp.
While staying with us, you can enjoy our dock, and we have dockage available for your boat.
*Note*
Late June through September is our “off season”. 3 out of 4 restaurants are closed, as well as our local museum and fresh fish market. Fortunately Marco Island is a quick drive away to find all of your vacation needs!

We had such a wonderful time on our anniversary trip at this property. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The property is calm and beautiful, perfect for bird watching, fishing, and just relaxing. It is great to be able to walk to restuarants. The host is super responsive and answered any questions we had. Would totally come back to this same VRBO :)

We loved our stay in Goodland. The cottage was clean, cute, convenient location to walk to the restaurants and marina for renting a boat and a quick drive to Marco Island. We loved sitting out by the water and just looking out at Goodland Bay enjoying our morning coffee, watching the boaters, birds and fish. Goodland is a very cute and quiet area...perfect for biking, walking and unwinding. Our host was friendly and responsive. We would definitely come back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great stay with nice water views!

Comfortable accommodations. Everything was exactly as listed. Low key and quiet neighborhood. Close to Marco Island (8-10min drive) for groceries, shopping, beaches, and more restaurants. Loved having kayaks to use right out the back to explore the mangrove islands and watch the sun set. Lots of osprey nesting and fishing. Would stay again!

Small Town Feel leaving a big positive experience!!

I kinda hate to tell the truth here cuz the secret will be out. This is a clean, cute, perfectly placed cottage for anyone who wants to relax, kayak, bike, walk, listen to music, eat local and feel like you're home. For us we will be back and the accommodations in our cottage is what we needed, small kitchen, LR combo, bathroom and bedroom. We loved having bikes but you can walk just as easily to the bars/restaurants. Marco Island is 5 miles down the road for any shopping or exploring.

A Lot of Fun and Relaxation

Overall, we loved this place! My husband and I spent loads of time in the adirondack chairs at the end of the dock drinking wine and waving at the boats. We also saw MANY dolphins-including one that swam right up to the dock! We were able to walk to dinner and live music. We did the Backwater Adventure Catamaran trip (HIGHLY recommend!!!!!) and were able to walk right over to Goodland Marina. The house was warm and welcoming! The only thing that was a little bit of a surprise was that there was pretty major construction going on at the house across the street and the saws were a bit annoying. They work every day. Having said that - it looked like they were making quick progress and we were out running around much of the time! We loved Goodland and this location.

Lovely getaway on a beautiful island away from the hustle and bustle of nearby towns!

I grew up in the area and Goodland has a special place in my heart. This cottage has it all. Super cozy, well stocked kitchen (cookware, coffee, condiments, etc), plenty of essentials for an enjoyable island stay (beach chairs, sunscreen, beach towels), and convenient laundry access. The host was very responsive and the unit was clean, welcoming, and charming. I look forward to visiting again soon!!

Great stay

Very clean, comfy bed and right on the water. Great place for the 2 of us. Had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Really enjoyed walking to all the local restaurants and most of all sitting by the water and watching the boats go by. We will be back.

Perfect getaway

Very clean, comfortable & well stocked cottage in a great location. It was nice to have a dock right there that we could tie our rented boat up to. Left the car parked & walked where we needed to go. The owners were great- friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to find an item we lost and made sure we got it back. Highly recommend and hope to make it back for another stay!

Spring Break

Goodland is a quirky little spot. We enjoyed walking and biking to the waterholes. Just a short drive to Marco. Was relaxing to sit by the water and watch the boats, birds and dolphins 😊

Best ever

I have fallen in love with Goodland Fl. The cottage is cute, well stocked with the stuff we actually need on vacation and the cottage was clean clean. The host was fabulous, helped us and checked to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Everything in the cottage worked, ++ comfortable bed! All of this was wonderful but the view tops all of it. Sitting on the lawn chairs, overlooking the bay, watching Dolphins jumping, Eagles chasing Ospreys, Pelicans and birds birds birds..... listening to the soft reggae coming from the restaurant while a soft tropical breeze blew and watched the sunset.... heaven! I'll be back :-)

First florida vacation

We stayed in Goodland, did so many amazing things, Everglades city is cool, south marco beach was so beautiful at sunset. The property is absolutely worth every penny! It has its own boat dock, comes with kayaks, there are chairs ro sit on at the dock for your morning coffee. It also comes.with 2 bicycles and washer, dryer, extra towels, extra everythig and sooooooo clean! Our beach chairs broke the 3rd day we were there and the owner had someone in standby as she was in a different time zone , her assistant lived across the st and brought us chairs. Also my husband accidentally locked the keys in the house and the assistant lived across the st so she waled over and let us in. Such a convenient, quite, peaceful, breath takimf place and location. We will definitely be back! I highly highly highly recommend you stay here.

Down to Earth Awesome!

We chose Goodland to take advantage of the quiet community and the access to Nature. This VRBO is exactly as described and the location, dock and kayaks provide a unique, down to earth awesome vacation option. The suite is cute, very clean and had everything we needed for our three night stay. We loved the small town and the lively atmosphere of the bars and restaurants, live music at Stan's Idle Hour was Sunday Fun Day! We did a 7 mile paddle into Ten Thousand Islands Preserve and used the tides to our advantage. We found a deserted island near the Gulf and enjoyed a few hours on the beach waiting for the tide to turn. Dolphins 50 feet from the kayak made our journey magical. We drank coffee on the Adirondack chairs on the dock for sunrise each morning. Owner communication was excellent. Highly recommend this VRBO.
