This 1915 historic home has been professionally remodeled with modern amenities to elevate your stay with comfort and style. The White House is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, only a few blocks from Main Street, walking distance to CMU, and 10 minutes to the trails. Ride our complimentary cruiser bikes to downtown dining and shopping, or cruise the River Front Trail to concerts at Las Colonias. Our spacious backyard includes a space to entertain with a BBQ grill, outdoor seating, and cornhole.

The White House is only a few blocks away from CMU's campus, providing a convenient stay for families of students. We also include gear storage for your adventures, please reach out about this with your booking.

Charming and fun; quiet neighborhood. Appreciated the private parking out back for easy in/out. It was great to have two cruiser bikes available. My pre-teen son loved being only a few blocks from the skate park. We enjoyed walking to the restaurants on Main Street. Nice to sit out on the back patio in the morning and watch all of the birds in the trees. Only improvement to mention is there was no coffee grinder nor toaster that we could find, but otherwise well stocked.

Perfect for large family

Great location! Went with girlfriends for a winery trip. Close driving distance to palisades and within walking distance to downtown GJ (less than a mile) The house was great! Clean, nicely updated, nice backyard. Plenty of room. Loved it!!

Cute home

Everything about this home was wonderful (fabulous patio with fire pit) and very nicely decorated. Super clean. The only issue was that we visited in summer and the airconditioner was not working. The owner came out quickly and called a repair person who was unable to fix it during our stay. The owner did by a large portable unit which helped but it was still hot. He did try to make it right though and gave us a gift certificate for wine and a charcuterie board. He did everything that he could - it was just an unfortunate event with the HVAC which I'm guessing has been resolved now. Perfect in every other way.

Lovely little home with lots of charm

Overall, it was great! We did have a little trouble with the front door but figured it out. In one of the rooms, we had to wash the coverlet bc of an unclean odor which was a little off putting, but I’m a mom and you just do what you need to do. We were only there for 2 quick nights and it really is a darling home. I guess I would just make sure the cleaning staff is dialed in on making sure all the things are clean :-)

Overall good experience. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Upstairs bathroom would benefit from some type of door or curtain for privacy.
